Mobile Toilet Renovation Steps and Time

Admin October 02, 2026

The renovation (installation) time for mobile toilets typically ranges from 1 to 5 days, depending on the toilet type, site conditions, and construction complexity. Simple single-unit toilets can be completed in 1-2 days, while complex combined toilets require 3-5 days. After installation, they can usually be put into normal use within 1-2 days.

I. Installation Time and Steps for Simple Mobile Toilets (Single-Unit)

Installation Time: 1-2 days.
Steps and Time Allocation:

  1. Foundation Construction and Main Unit Assembly (Day 1):
    • Complete site cleaning and leveling, and directly place or simply fix the main toilet unit (such as single-unit toilets made of fiberglass or plastic). If the site conditions are ideal (flat ground and reserved water and electricity connections), this step can be shortened to half a day.
  2. Internal Facility Installation and Debugging (Day 2):
    • Install equipment such as toilets and washbasins, and connect water supply and drainage pipes and electrical circuits (using quick-connect fittings can speed up the process).
    • Conduct a comprehensive inspection and cleaning, and put it into use on the same day or the next day.

II. Installation Time and Steps for Complex Mobile Toilets (Combined/Modular)

Installation Time: 3-5 days.
Steps and Time Allocation:

  1. Foundation and Frame Construction (Day 1):
    • Assemble the frame and install partitions on site (such as modular products modified from containers), requiring the use of a crane for positioning, which takes about 4-6 hours.
  2. Water, Electricity, and Facility Installation (Days 2-3):
    • Install toilets, shower equipment, ventilation systems, etc., and connect pipes and electrical circuits.
    • Special functions (such as intelligent equipment) require additional debugging to ensure system coordination.
  3. Finalization and Acceptance (Days 4-5):
    • Check functions such as flushing, drainage, and lighting, test the tightness, and clean the site.
    • If problems such as water and electricity leakage are found, rectification and retesting are required, which may delay the process by 1-2 days.

III. Key Influencing Factors

  1. Site Conditions: Flat ground and reserved water and electricity connections can shorten the time by 30%-50%; if foundation treatment or long-distance pipeline laying is required, the construction period will be extended by 2-3 days.
  2. Product Type: Single-unit (integrated design) installation is the fastest; combined units require on-site assembly and have a longer cycle.
  3. Construction Team: An experienced team can efficiently complete assembly and debugging, reducing the risk of rework.
