Quantity of Mobile Toilets
The quantity of mobile toilets should be determined based on different scenarios and the scale of the number of people. Here are specific configuration suggestions:

Small-scale events (less than 100 people):
For small gatherings, community events, etc., it is recommended to configure 1-2 mobile toilets for every 50 people. If the number of people is within 50, one single-person toilet will suffice. If the number of people is between 50 and 100, two single-person toilets or one double-person toilet can be configured, along with one spare toilet to handle emergencies or equipment failures.
Medium-scale events (100-500 people):
For corporate annual meetings, small exhibitions, etc., it is necessary to configure 2-3 toilets for every 100 people. For example, for a 200-person event, it is recommended to configure two double-person toilets and one single-person toilet. For events with more than 300 people, the number of toilets should be increased to 4-5, with a recommended male-to-female ratio of 1:1.5, along with one accessible toilet to meet the needs of different groups. Some also believe that two restrooms are sufficient for a small gathering of 100 people, but this suggestion may be more applicable to non-crowded event scenarios.
Large-scale events (more than 500 people):
For large-scale events such as music festivals and sports events, it is necessary to configure 3-5 mobile toilets for every 100 people. For a 1000-person event, it is recommended to configure three double-person toilets, three single-person toilets, and one accessible toilet, and add temporary handwashing stations during peak hours to enhance the user experience. For events with more than 1000 people, such as music festivals, at least 5-8 mobile toilets are required, and the specific number should be comprehensively considered based on the nature of the event, venue layout, and other factors.
Special scenarios:
For long-term use scenarios such as construction sites and scenic spots, it is recommended to configure one toilet for every 30-50 people to meet daily needs. For campsites, it is recommended to configure one toilet for every 20 people, along with shower rooms, and reserve 10% spare capacity to handle equipment failures or temporary increases in the number of people. For example, during the May Day holiday, the environmental sanitation department in Jiang'an District added 30 mobile public toilets in the courtyard at No. 27 Lihuangpi Road, effectively alleviating the difficulty of tourists finding restrooms.
