Production Standards for Mobile Toilets
Admin October 08, 2026
Currently, there are no unified production standards for mobile toilets, but there are two production cases with different structures, as detailed below:

Production Using Water Storage Barrels
- Basic Framework Construction: Split a water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility. Attach wooden strips to the upper side of the barrel to increase its height, providing space for the installation of other components.
- Wall and Roof Construction: Create an opening on the side of the water storage barrel. Install sponge strips to form a door frame and embed plastic soft panels to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips to serve as the roof, providing shelter from wind and rain.
- Drainage and Water Storage System Setup: Create a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain for easy sewage discharge. Drill holes on the side and bottom of a plastic barrel, connect them with direct fittings, and place the plastic barrel on the roof to form a small water storage device for storing clean water.
- Sanitary Facility Installation: Use water pipes to make a bath heater. Install a three-way fitting below the inlet pipe to connect a showerhead, meeting bathing needs. Place a toilet and install a water tank, securing the toilet with glass glue to ensure stability. Connect the drainage pipe to a sewage barrel for sewage collection. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the three-way fitting of the outlet pipe and extend it to the doorway to serve as the inlet pipe for a washbasin, facilitating handwashing.
Production Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets
- Mobile Base Preparation: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet to provide mobility for the entire mobile toilet. Place a water storage tank as the main container for making the mobile toilet.
- Tank Modification and Connection: Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the water storage tank to remove the top, creating an open-top tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on top of the first tank, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws to increase the internal space.
- Sanitary Facility Installation: Cut a rectangular opening on the outer frame of the water storage tank to form a doorway for easy access. Create a hole on the internal floor of the water storage tank, insert a elbow from the bottom upwards, connect it to a water pipe, and seal it with glue. Cut off the excess water pipe, align the toilet with the drainage hole, and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall with clips to install a faucet. Fix a pipe cap below the faucet and connect it to a water pipe. Create a hole at the bottom of the pipe cap to serve as the outlet for the drainage pipe. Apply glass glue on the pipe cap to fix a washbasin made of a stainless steel basin. Connect an inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect a shower hose, and install a shower bracket and toilet seat. Use a water pipe to make a spray-type showerhead to meet daily needs.
- Door Installation: Fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank and connect a wooden board to form the door of the toilet. Install a door handle to ensure normal door operation.
