Mobile Toilet Production and Installation

Admin October 01, 2026

The production and installation of mobile toilets involve aspects such as production materials and structures, installation preparations and steps, and design principles.

Production Materials and Structures

The production materials for mobile toilets have evolved from wood to fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyethylene, and other materials. Early mobile toilets were made of wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. Today, materials like fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene offer superior performance. A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal wastewater storage tank (or fecal wastewater treatment device), floor panels, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing facilities, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. In terms of structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Based on mobility methods, there are hoisting and handling-type mobile toilets, as well as powered and towed-type mobile toilets. According to wastewater treatment methods, they can be classified as water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different types have distinct features in terms of functionality and usage scenarios. For example, water-flush toilets offer higher cleanliness but require a water source, while non-water-flush suction-type and dry-packing toilets are suitable for water-scarce areas.

Installation Preparations and Steps

After receiving the mobile toilet shipment, tools such as an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun should be prepared. During installation, the first step is to install the inner corners sequentially. The second step is to insert the panels into the slots, align them, and once the top and panels are aligned, drill holes, insert rivets, and secure them with a rivet gun. However, installation methods may vary for different types of mobile toilets. For example, outdoor assembled mobile toilets come with dedicated export installation videos, which installers can refer to for accurate and standardized installation.

Design Principles

The design of mobile toilets should adhere to the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability; environmental protection and ecological friendliness; and enhancing efficiency and promoting humanity. The overall structure should be lightweight, utilizing lightweight and durable materials as much as possible to facilitate mobility and ensure longevity. The structure should be sturdy to withstand various usage environments and potential impacts. The height and width of the toilet should be reasonably controlled to meet ergonomic and usage requirements. The mobile device should be fully considered for completeness and rationality to ensure a safe and smooth moving process.
