Principles and Parameters of Mobile Toilets
Admin October 05, 2026
Mobile toilets achieve environmental protection and convenience through various technologies. Their principles cover energy-saving design, water-saving treatment, and diverse sewage treatment methods, while parameters involve structural strength, material selection, and environmental adaptability.

I. Working Principles
- Energy-Saving Design: Energy-saving mobile toilets are specifically designed for outdoor scenarios. They adopt double-layer waterproof roofs and galvanized steel structures to reduce rainwater penetration and structural corrosion, extending their service life to 20-30 years. Their waterless flushing feature is achieved through physical isolation or biodegradation, significantly reducing water consumption.
- Water-Saving Technology: Mobile eco-friendly public toilets collect hand-washing water automatically and add special agents to achieve a flushing effect with only 0.46 liters of water per person. Some models are equipped with intelligent sensing systems that dynamically adjust water volume based on usage frequency, further optimizing water-saving performance.
- Sewage Treatment Methods:
- Recirculating Water Flush Type: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, this type adds biological strains and utilizes biofilm technology to accelerate the decomposition of excreta. The treated water can be recirculated for flushing, forming a closed-loop system.
- Dry Packing Type: Without a water flushing device, excreta is collected by biodegradable plastic bags. After use, the bags are automatically replaced and collected centrally, preventing sewage leakage and suitable for areas without sewage pipe networks.
- Microbial Degradation Type: This type decomposes excreta through special strains, achieving waterless treatment. It is suitable for water-scarce or ecologically sensitive areas, such as deserts and plateaus.
- Water Flush Type: This type relies on a 220V voltage-driven water pump and requires a配套 (matching) septic tank or municipal sewage pipe network, suitable for urban public areas.
- Packing Type: This type seals feces in biodegradable plastic bags, which are replaced periodically. It is simple to operate and has low maintenance costs.
II. Core Parameters
- Structural Parameters:
- Frame: Adopts national standard steel welding or steel structure frames to meet overall lifting requirements, with a service life of up to 20-30 years.
- Exterior Wall Materials: Options include color steel plates, metal carved plates, anti-corrosion wood, stainless steel plates, and aluminum-plastic plates, adapting to different environmental needs.
- Floor: Designed with non-slip aluminum plates or floor tiles to ensure safety during use.
- Configuration: Standard configurations include toilet bowls, coat hooks, and vanity mirrors; optional configurations include heating and cooling air conditioners, air purifiers, and anti-freeze systems to enhance comfort.
- Performance Parameters:
- Temperature Adaptability: Suitable for a temperature range of -10℃ to 60℃, with optional insulation layers of 100-1000mm to cope with extreme climates.
- Inlet Size: Uniformly 4mm to prevent foreign objects from entering and causing equipment failures.
- Flushing Water Volume: Intelligent water-saving models can achieve low-volume flushing of 0.46 to 1.5 liters per person, balancing cleaning effectiveness and resource conservation.
