Precautions for Mobile Toilets
The use and maintenance of mobile toilets require comprehensive consideration from multiple aspects such as cleaning and disinfection, material handling, and safe site selection. The specific precautions are as follows:

1. Cleaning and Disinfection
In high-frequency usage scenarios, contact surfaces such as sinks and toilet seats should be cleaned daily. Chlorine-based disinfectants should be used to kill bacteria and viruses, preventing cross-infection. The ventilation system should be kept unobstructed, reducing the accumulation of odors and harmful gases (such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide) through mechanical or natural ventilation. Additionally, sufficient hand soap, hand-drying equipment, or disposable paper towels should be provided to encourage users to clean their hands and reduce the risk of disease transmission.
2. Material and Waste Handling
Antibacterial plastics or stainless steel, which are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, should be prioritized to reduce bacterial growth. The sewage storage tank should be sealed and regularly transported to the municipal sewage treatment system to prevent environmental pollution from leaks. Graphic signs should be posted at the entrance to clearly prohibit behaviors such as discarding debris and excessive flushing, reducing the risk of pipe blockages.
3. Safety and Site Selection
The equipment should pass slip-resistance tests, with non-slip mats laid on the floor and “Caution: Slippery Surface” warning signs posted. Rented products should comply with national safety standards and be equipped with auxiliary facilities such as handrails and emergency call devices. The site selection should avoid low-lying flood-prone areas, staying away from construction dust, excavation sites, and temporary power lines, and maintaining a distance of more than 50 meters from water sources and residential areas to minimize environmental impact.
4. Daily Maintenance and Response to Special Weather Conditions
The flushing system, electrical circuits, and door and window seals should be inspected daily, with damaged seals and exhaust valves promptly replaced. Increase ventilation frequency during high summer temperatures and wrap the water tank with insulation cotton in winter to prevent freezing. Before severe weather, the equipment should be reinforced. Check the grounding device during thunderstorms and move the equipment indoors or anchor it to the ground before typhoons.
5. Environmental Protection, Energy Efficiency, and Infrastructure
Solar power systems and water-saving fixtures (such as sensor faucets) should be adopted to reduce energy consumption, and wastewater treatment devices should be equipped for water reuse. Before installation, the ground should be leveled and a concrete foundation poured, with a moisture-proof layer added in humid areas to prevent metal component corrosion. Electrical equipment should be installed with leakage protection devices, and insulation performance should be regularly tested to ensure electrical safety.
6. Usage Guidelines
Users should close the toilet seat cover before flushing to prevent fecal splatter; parents should supervise children to prevent them from playing in the toilet and avoid pinching or falling injuries. Operators should replenish consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap every 2 hours and conduct a comprehensive disinfection after closing at night.
