Admin October 22, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing toilet services to the public and customers. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, classification, and special types:

I. Basic Composition
A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. These components work together to ensure the basic functionality of the toilet. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store excreta, the sanitary ware provides direct tools for using the toilet, the walls and roof serve to protect against wind and rain and safeguard privacy, and the moving device facilitates the overall movement and placement of the toilet.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: Mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and highly independent; the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
  2. By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which are usually larger in size and require lifting equipment or manual labor for handling; there are also powered and trailer-type mobile toilets, which can be moved using vehicle power and are more flexible and convenient.
  3. By sewage treatment method: Mobile toilets are classified into water-flush and waterless suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush type mobile toilets, and dry-packing type mobile toilets. The water-flush type is similar to traditional toilets, using water to flush away excreta; the waterless suction type uses suction equipment to remove excreta; the circulating water-flush type recycles water to save water resources; the dry-packing type dry-packs excreta for disposal.

III. Special Types

  1. Barrier-free mobile toilets: These are specially designed for people with special needs such as the disabled, the elderly, women, and children. They are equipped with dedicated barrier-free facilities, such as doors that are easy to open for wheelchair users and those who need assistance, special sanitary ware, and safety handrails配套的专用洁具,体现人文关怀。
  2. Gender-separated mobile toilets: For example, some gender-separated mobile toilets have one squat position each for men and women, with a washing area in the middle. The overall structure has a pointed roof with waterproof asphalt tiles on top and heat-insulating metal walls, meeting the usage needs of different genders while also having a certain degree of aesthetics and practicality.
