Admin September 21, 2026

No direct introduction specifically for the 'Mobile Toilet Platform' has been found yet, but there is a related 'Urban Public Toilet Cloud Platform' concerning toilets. Here is a detailed introduction to this platform:

Platform Basics: The Urban Public Toilet Cloud Platform is a public welfare platform developed under the leadership of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China. It began trial operations on November 19, 2017, and was officially launched on July 4, 2018. Its purpose is to integrate social toilet resources, enable sharing, and facilitate the public in finding toilets.

Platform Functions:

  • Location Query and Navigation: Users can quickly locate nearby public toilets and obtain navigation routes to them through WeChat official accounts, mini-programs, and mobile applications, greatly facilitating the need to find toilets in unfamiliar environments.
  • Facility Details Viewing: The platform provides detailed information about the facilities inside public toilets, such as whether they are equipped with toilet paper, Wi-Fi, and barrier-free facilities. This helps users choose appropriate public toilets according to their own needs, especially for people with special needs, such as the disabled, who can learn in advance whether a public toilet has barrier-free facilities to better arrange their travel.
  • User Reviews and Problem Feedback: Users can evaluate the public toilets they have used on the platform, share their usage experiences, and also provide feedback on problems with public toilets, such as poor hygiene conditions or damaged facilities. This helps relevant departments stay informed about the actual situation of public toilets in a timely manner and carry out targeted management and maintenance.

Platform Data: As of July 2, 2018, the platform had aggregated nearly 330,000 pieces of public toilet information across the country, with over 100,000 users and more than 500,000 toilet-finding services completed. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in collaboration with local departments, has promoted the networking of basic public toilet data across the country by aligning with the 'New Three-Year Action Plan for the Construction and Management of National Tourism Toilets (2018 - 2020)'. As of July 2018, 216 cities in 19 provinces (municipalities directly under the central government), including Tianjin, Fujian, Hainan, Guangdong, and Henan, had used the platform for public toilet data surveys, completing data surveys for more than 19,000 public toilets in total.
