Mobile Toilet Plan Dimensions Diagram
Currently, there is no specific diagram directly related to the 'Mobile Toilet Plan Dimensions Diagram', but design dimension highlights for mobile toilets can be provided based on relevant regulations for reference:

The design of mobile toilets needs to comprehensively consider usage functions, ergonomics, and space utilization. Their plan dimensions must meet the installation and usage requirements of different types of toilet fixtures while also taking into account barrier-free design requirements. The following provides an explanation from three dimensions: regular toilet stalls, barrier-free toilet stalls, and the space around toilet fixtures.
I. Regular Toilet Stall Dimension Specifications According to GB55031-2022 'General Specifications for Civil Buildings', toilet stall dimensions should be differentiated based on the door opening direction:
- Outward-Opening Toilet Stalls: For toilet stalls with sit-down toilets, the net dimensions should not be less than 0.9m (width) × 1.3m (depth). For toilet stalls with squat toilets, the net dimensions should not be less than 0.9m × 1.2m. This design reduces the space occupied by the door when it is opened and is suitable for mobile toilets with limited space.
- Inward-Opening Toilet Stalls: For toilet stalls with sit-down toilets, the net dimensions need to be expanded to 0.9m × 1.5m. For toilet stalls with squat toilets, the dimensions need to be 0.9m × 1.4m. Inward-opening doors require reserved space for movement after the door is opened, so the depth needs to be increased by 20-30cm. Note: All dimensions are net dimensions, that is, the actual usable space after deducting structures such as walls and door frames.
II. Barrier-Free Toilet Stall Design Requirements Barrier-free toilet stalls need to meet the requirements for wheelchair rotation and assistance from caregivers, and the dimension standards are stricter:
- Minimum Dimensions: They should not be less than 1.80m (width) × 1.00m (depth), but this size can only meet the basic entry and exit of wheelchairs, and the operating space is cramped.
- Recommended Dimensions: It is advisable to adopt 2.00m (width) × 1.50m (depth) first, which can provide sufficient wheelchair rotation space (diameter ≥ 1.5m) and a standing area for caregivers.
- Door Opening Direction: The door should preferably open outward to avoid blocking the space inside the door if the user falls. If it opens inward, it is necessary to ensure that there is a wheelchair rotation space of ≥ 1.5m behind the door.
III. Reserved Space Around Toilet Fixtures
- Sit-Down Toilet Area: The minimum dimensions should preferably be 900mm (width) × 1100mm (depth). Leg movement space of 450-500mm should be reserved in front, and 200-250mm should be left on both sides for placing toilet paper, grab bars, etc.
- Squat Toilet Area: The distance from the wall should preferably be 200-250mm to avoid the user's back being close to the wall. Space of 500mm should be reserved in front for squatting down and getting up. The installation height of the water tank should preferably be 1000mm for easy operation.
The design of mobile toilets should be based on regulations and adjusted according to actual usage scenarios (such as scenic spots, construction sites, temporary events, etc.) to ensure a balance between functionality and comfort.
