Mobile Toilet Pipeline Layout
The pipeline layout of mobile toilets should be designed in accordance with site selection, functionality, safety, and environmental protection requirements, with specific points for each system as follows:

1. Exhaust System Pipeline Layout
The exhaust outlet should be located away from areas where people are active, preferably installed at the top of the toilet or high on the side wall (above 1.8 meters from the ground) to avoid direct sunlight and rain. The ventilation ducts should be short, straight, and smooth, minimizing bends and connections. For split-type toilets, the exhaust fan can be placed in an independent ventilation module, connected to the exhaust ports of each compartment via PVC pipes with a diameter of no less than 10 centimeters. The fan selection should match the power requirements (15-20 cubic meters per minute per toilet stall). During installation, maintenance space should be reserved, the fan body should be horizontally aligned, and rain-proof louvers and insect screens should be installed to prevent foreign objects from entering.
2. Electrical and Water Supply & Drainage Safety Specifications
- Electrical System: Use independent residual current circuit breakers (rated current ≤ 10A). Electrical wires should be laid underground through galvanized steel pipes (burial depth ≥ 0.5 meters) to avoid mechanical damage and electric shock risks. Emergency power supplies should be provided for night lighting to ensure at least 2 hours of power supply after a power outage.
- Water Supply & Drainage System: Use PPR pipes for the water supply system and install heating tapes in winter to prevent freezing. The drainage pipe diameter should be ≥ 110mm with a slope of ≥ 2% to ensure smooth drainage. The septic tank should be located at least 3 meters away from the main toilet structure, with a capacity calculated at 0.15 cubic meters per person to avoid polluting the surrounding environment.
- Environmental Protection Requirements: Sewage should be connected to the municipal drainage system or a septic tank, and direct discharge into natural water bodies is prohibited. Garbage should be sorted and collected, and environmentally friendly chemical cleaners should be selected to reduce ecological impact.
3. Smart Safety Wiring
Install laser sensors to monitor the usage status of toilet stalls and display available stalls in real-time on LED screens. Configure a gas sensor network to automatically activate the fresh air system when ammonia concentration exceeds 15ppm. Use waterproof cables (with an IP65 protection rating for connections) for the electrical circuit and install emergency call buttons connected to a wireless alarm system to enhance safety.
4. Temporary Layout Specifications
The site selection should avoid low-lying areas prone to water accumulation and areas with dense underground pipelines. The ground should be hardened to prevent settlement. One mobile toilet should be provided for every 30-50 people, with a male-to-female stall ratio of 1:1.5. For large events, accessible stalls and母婴室 (nursing rooms) should be added. The lessor should conduct daily inspections, clean garbage, replenish consumables, and take anti-slip and anti-flooding measures during the rainy season.
5. Pipeline Concealment
Refer to the installation method of smart toilets, where water pipes and power cords are buried in the wall through masonry grooving and covered with tiles for concealment (water and electricity routes should be planned in advance). This enhances aesthetics and safety.
All pipeline layouts should be flexibly adjusted according to actual site conditions, and aging components should be regularly inspected and replaced to ensure stable operation of the facilities.
