How to Prevent Moisture in Mobile Toilets
Admin September 22, 2026
The moisture prevention design of mobile toilets is mainly achieved through four aspects: material selection, structural design, functional design, and installation and maintenance.

Material Selection
- Frame: Galvanized square tubes are commonly used. The galvanized layer effectively isolates air and moisture, preventing metal rusting. Meanwhile, the square tube cross-section design enhances impact resistance, providing basic support for moisture prevention.
- Exterior Wall: Metal carved panels are selected for their fire-resistant and moisture-proof properties. Their surface textures can blend with the scenic environment. Some metal carved panels are up to 7.5 millimeters thick, filled with rock wool sound insulation layers inside, and their metal antioxidant coatings enhance corrosion resistance, further strengthening moisture prevention effects.
- Interior Wall: PVC material is used for its smooth surface, which is easy to clean and has excellent waterproof performance, preventing mildew caused by moisture and keeping the interior environment dry.
- Floor: Anti-slip patterned aluminum plates or tiles are laid. Anti-slip patterned aluminum plates increase friction through their surface concave-convex textures, reducing the risk of slipping on rainy days; tiles achieve easy cleaning and antibacterial effects through their ceramic glaze, reducing moisture accumulation.
- Fireproof Board: Moisture prevention is usually achieved by compounding fireproof coatings or melamine finishes on the surface of base materials (such as magnesium oxide boards, cement fiber boards, or calcium silicate boards). This effectively blocks moisture penetration, and under conventional humidity conditions (e.g., humidity of 60%-80%), the boards are less likely to deform, bubble, or mold.
Structural Design
- Pointed Roof Design: It conforms to architectural aesthetics and accelerates rainwater drainage through its sloped structure, reducing the risk of water accumulation and preventing long-term water retention from eroding the toilet.
- Sealed Structure: The combination of ceramic toilets and waterproof sealing strips prevents sewage leakage, reduces bacterial growth, and avoids moisture problems caused by sewage at the source.
Functional Design
- Ventilation System: Plastic-steel doors and windows paired with exhaust fans create natural convection, quickly expelling odors, reducing internal humidity, maintaining air circulation, and reducing moisture accumulation.
Installation and Maintenance
- Installation Requirements: During installation, ensure that the edges of the panels are sealed and maintain internal ventilation in the toilet; use mold-proof sealant to treat all seams and add a waterproof垫层 (waterproof layer) on the floor to further isolate moisture.
- Maintenance Recommendations: Avoid long-term direct exposure to rain or standing water environments; install a rain shelter; regularly inspect the edges and seams of the panels, and promptly repair any aged or detached sealant; for coastal or extremely humid areas, consult the manufacturer for customized options with enhanced moisture prevention treatments.
