Mobile Toilet Mobile Bathroom
A mobile toilet (mobile bathroom) is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public or customers. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.

Composition Structure
A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. These components work together to ensure that the mobile toilet can function normally and provide basic toilet and hygiene conditions for users.
Classification by Structure and Moving Method
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single structure is relatively simple and independent, while the composite structure may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex and diverse functions.
- By moving method: It is divided into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type mobile toilets usually require external equipment for movement; powered and towed-type mobile toilets have their own power or can be moved by vehicle towing, making them more flexible to use.
Classification by Sewage Treatment Method
- Water-flush and non-water-flush suction types: The water-flush type uses water flow to flush and keep the toilet clean; the non-water-flush suction type uses suction equipment to treat fecal sewage.
- Recirculating water-flush type: It purifies the used water and then recirculates it for use, saving water resources.
- Dry-packing type: It collects feces and other waste in specific containers and regularly cleans and replaces them without the need for water flushing.
Homemade Cases
Some individuals also use materials such as water storage tanks, pallets, and buckets to make movable toilets. For example, some people use a water storage tank and a pallet. They fix universal wheels at the bottom of the pallet, place the water storage tank and cut an opening, fix it, then cut a door opening, and install drainage devices, toilets, faucets, etc. Others use wooden boards to install universal wheels as a base, place the cut buckets on top and fix them, cut an entrance, wrap the cut edges, extend and heighten them, install bucket lids, make wooden doors, and install drainage pipes and floor drains to achieve the function of a movable toilet.
