Mobile Toilet Materials

Admin September 20, 2026

The materials for mobile toilets are divided into four categories based on functional requirements, covering structural, decoration, auxiliary facility, and system support materials, as detailed below:

1. Main structural materials
The main structure needs to balance strength, lightness, and durability.

  • Metal: Represented by magnesium-aluminum alloy, it features high strength and lightweight properties, suitable for constructing frame structures and commonly used in high-end or long-term fixed mobile toilets.
  • Plastic: Such as ABS plastic, it can be custom-processed into plates, rods, and other irregular components, offering waterproof, easy-to-clean, and corrosion-resistant properties, suitable for outdoor temporary event scenarios.
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plastic: Composed of epoxy resin and glass fibers, it has a smooth, stain-resistant surface, strong weather resistance, and excellent thermal insulation, often used in scenic spots or places with high aesthetic requirements.
  • Panel materials: Color-coated steel plates, aluminum-plastic panels, and metal embossed panels combine corrosion resistance with decorative appeal, suitable for urban environments; light steel keels or national standard galvanized pipes form the framework through welding, with a lifespan of over 20 years, serving as the core support for long-term use.

2. Interior decoration materials
Decoration materials need to balance practicality and aesthetics.

  • Walls and partitions: Imitation marble crystal panels, embossed panels, aluminum-plastic panels, and PVC扣板 (PVC trim panels) provide diverse visual effects, while fiberboard is used in low-cost scenarios; stainless steel plates are often used in humid areas due to their corrosion resistance.
  • Flooring: Anti-slip marble or special anti-slip materials (such as rubber granule composite flooring) ensure safety and prevent slipping risks.

3. Auxiliary facility materials
Auxiliary facility materials need to meet hygiene and durability requirements.

  • Sanitary ware: Squat toilets and sit toilets are made of special ceramics or high-density plastics, with smooth surfaces for easy cleaning; some models feature anti-splash designs to enhance the user experience.
  • Handwashing stations: Artificial stone countertops are water-resistant and antibacterial, while stainless steel countertops offer high strength and easy maintenance, both suitable for public settings.
  • Other accessories: Makeup mirrors, clothes hooks, and toilet paper holders are mostly made of stainless steel or engineering plastics, balancing rust resistance and lightness.

4. System support materials
System materials need to ensure functional stability and environmental friendliness.

  • Sewage treatment: Septic tanks are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or fiberglass-reinforced plastic, offering corrosion resistance and strong sealing properties; biodegradation units use special microbial carrier materials to accelerate organic matter decomposition.
  • Ventilation systems: Exhaust fan housings are primarily made of aluminum alloy or ABS plastic, with exhaust ports equipped with rain covers to ensure air circulation and prevent rainwater ingress.
  • Power supply systems: Solar panels use monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon materials with high conversion efficiency; batteries are selected from lithium-ion or lead-acid types to provide long-lasting power support, suitable for areas without grid access.

The selection of materials for mobile toilets should consider environmental adaptability, cost, and maintenance requirements, achieving a unified balance of functionality and aesthetics through modular design.
