Mobile Toilet Material Selection
Admin September 23, 2026
Material selection for mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration of environmental adaptability, durability, and maintenance costs. Common material selection points are as follows:

1. Cabinet Body Materials: Choose Based on Usage Scenarios
- Galvanized Steel Plate: Excellent rust resistance, suitable for coastal, humid, or rainy areas, effectively resisting salt spray corrosion and long-term moisture erosion.
- Aluminum Alloy: Lightweight and easy to handle, suitable for places requiring frequent relocation (such as temporary events, construction sites), but with slightly weaker corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel plates.
- High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE): Resistant to chemical corrosion and strong impact, with a smooth and easy-to-clean surface, it is the current mainstream choice, especially suitable for public places or high-traffic usage scenarios.
- Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP): High strength and aging resistance, but relatively heavy, mostly used for fixed mobile toilets or scenarios requiring high structural stability.
- Stainless Steel: Extremely corrosion-resistant, suitable for coastal areas with high salt spray or high-end requirements, but with higher costs, typically used for special custom scenarios.
2. Interior Panels: Focus on Hygiene and Durability
- Antibacterial Composite Material: With an antibacterial coating on the surface, it can inhibit bacterial growth and reduce odor residue, suitable for places with high hygiene requirements (such as hospitals, scenic spots).
- Non-Slip Aluminum Plate: Excellent non-slip performance, stain-resistant and easy to clean, but long-term use may lead to a decrease in non-slip effect due to wear.
- Engineering Plastic: Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, but with poor high-temperature resistance, suitable for dry or low-temperature environments.
- FRP Floor (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic): High strength and wear resistance, but the surface smoothness needs to be improved through non-slip treatment, mostly used in industrial or high-load scenarios.
3. Roof Structure: Respond to Extreme Weather
- Slope Design: Avoid rainwater accumulation and reduce leakage risks, especially suitable for rainy areas.
- Double-Layer Insulation Layer: The upper layer reflects sunlight, and the lower layer blocks heat transfer, effectively reducing the internal temperature and adapting to high-temperature or extremely cold environments.
4. Structural Framework: Ensure Stability
- Galvanized Square Steel Welding: Some products use 100*100mm galvanized square steel as the main framework, enhancing overall stability through welding processes, suitable for long-term fixed use or scenarios carrying heavy loads.
Material Selection Advice: Reliable manufacturers will recommend material combinations based on customer budgets, usage frequencies, and environmental conditions (such as humidity, temperature, salt spray, etc.), rather than solely pursuing low costs or high performance. For example, in humid areas, galvanized steel plate cabinets with antibacterial composite material interiors can be prioritized; for high-frequency usage scenarios, it is recommended to use HDPE cabinets with non-slip aluminum plate floors to balance durability and maintenance costs.
