Mobile Toilet Material Selection
The selection of materials for mobile toilets should be based on a comprehensive consideration of usage scenarios, cost budgets, and functional requirements, with the core principle being to balance durability, corrosion resistance, portability, and environmental friendliness. Here are specific material analyses and scenario recommendations:

Metal Materials
Aluminum alloy is a common choice for the framework of mobile toilets. Its density is only one-third that of steel, and it has strong corrosion resistance. Its surface can be enhanced with oxidation treatment or fluorocarbon spraying, making it particularly suitable for frequently moved or humid environments (such as coastal areas). Stainless steel, with its extremely strong corrosion resistance, is mostly used for internal hardware (such as water tanks and pipes) and door hinges, but its cost is relatively high (about 1.5-2 times that of aluminum alloy), so budget and long-term maintenance costs need to be weighed.
Plastic/Composite Materials
PVC panels are widely used for internal partitions, wall panels, and ceiling panels due to their waterproof, moisture-proof, easy-to-clean properties, and low cost (about 50-150 yuan per square meter). However, it is important to choose products that meet environmental standards to avoid the release of harmful substances. Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), composed of resin and glass fibers, has strength close to that of steel but is much lighter in weight (only one-fourth to one-third that of steel). It is corrosion-resistant, aging-resistant, and suitable for outer shells or overall structures, but its surface is easily scratched and the repair cost is relatively high. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) panels are characterized by high strength, impact resistance, and UV resistance, and are often used for bottom and external decorations, with a price of about 200-500 yuan per square meter.
Wooden Materials
Preservative-treated wood can extend its service life by applying preservative coatings and is suitable for scenic spots, homestays, and other scenarios with high aesthetic requirements. However, it requires regular maintenance and is not recommended as a structural material. Ecological wood, composed of wood powder and plastic, has better waterproof and insect-resistant properties than natural wood, but its high-temperature resistance is relatively poor, making it suitable for scenarios with limited budgets and a pursuit of a natural style.
Other Materials
Rock wool sandwich panels, when used for ceiling panels or partition walls, with rock wool (density ≥ 80kg/m³) filled inside, can effectively provide sound insulation and heat insulation, with a fire rating of Class A, making them suitable for densely populated areas. Galvanized steel sheets have good rust resistance and are suitable for humid areas such as seaside regions. Antibacterial composite materials reduce odor residue and improve internal hygiene levels, making them suitable for scenarios with high cleanliness requirements.
Application Scenario Recommendations
For temporary events (such as exhibitions and music festivals), priority can be given to aluminum alloy frameworks + PVC panel interior decorations, balancing portability and cost (the price per unit is about 3000-8000 yuan). For long-term usage scenarios (such as construction sites), it is recommended to use galvanized steel sheet boxes + antibacterial composite material interior panels to adapt to humid environments and reduce maintenance costs. In areas with extreme weather conditions, drainage and thermal insulation performance can be enhanced through sloped roof designs + double-layer thermal insulation layers.
