Mobile Toilet Manufacturing Process

Admin September 23, 2026

The manufacturing process of mobile toilets covers key aspects such as material selection, structural design, sewage treatment, and specific production procedures.

Material Selection: Mobile toilets are often exposed to outdoor environments, so their shell materials need to be weather-resistant. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a mainstream choice due to its corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and ease of cleaning. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) offers high strength but is heavier, suitable for scenarios requiring high structural integrity. Stainless steel is commonly used in high-end products or coastal areas with high salt spray to resist corrosion. The inner wall and floor materials should be slip-resistant, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. Common materials include slip-resistant aluminum plates, engineering plastics, and FRP floors, each with its performance advantages.

Structural Design and Process Details: The interior space of mobile toilets is compact, requiring a reasonable layout of toilets, sinks, shelves, and ventilation systems within 2 to 3 square meters. Modular design is a common approach used by excellent manufacturers, facilitating transportation and on-site assembly. Seams are sealed with sealing strips or waterproof treatments to prevent rainwater infiltration and odor leakage. The ventilation system combines natural ventilation with mechanical exhaust, achieving air circulation through exhaust fans or ventilation ducts, effectively reducing stuffiness and odors.

Sewage Disposal and Environmental Protection Methods: Mobile toilets are divided into flush-type and non-flush-type based on their flushing methods. Flush-type toilets require a water tank or external water source, using a small water pump for flushing and a sewage tank to collect wastewater. The capacity of the sewage tank directly affects the frequency of emptying. Non-flush-type toilets use microbial degradation or incineration technology. The former requires the addition of biological degradation bacteria and has high temperature control requirements; the latter requires an incineration device to ensure safety. Reputable manufacturers clearly indicate parameters such as sewage tank capacity, degradation efficiency, and emission standards in product descriptions and provide corresponding maintenance plans.

Specific Production Process Example: Taking the modification of a water storage tank as an example, it is necessary to split the tank with an angle grinder and fix universal wheels for mobility. Increase the height with wooden strips and self-tapping screws, and install door frames and walls. Drill holes at the bottom of the tank to install drainage pipes, connecting them to a water pipe-made bath heater and showerhead. Place the toilet and install a water tank, connecting the drainage pipe to the sewage tank. Throughout the process, attention should be paid to sealing and stability to ensure that all components are firmly connected and leak-free.
