Mobile Toilet Maintenance Fault Codes

Admin October 02, 2026

Common maintenance fault codes and handling methods for smart toilets in mobile toilets are as follows:

E1 Fault
Manifests as a water temperature sensor fault (inability to control water temperature) or the water tank not being filled (affecting flushing performance). It may be caused by sensor dirt, an unopened water valve, or a blocked water supply pipe. During maintenance, clean the sensor surface, check if the water valve is open, and clear any blockages in the water supply pipe. If the water tank is not filled, ensure the water valve is open and check if the pipe is unobstructed.

E2 Fault
Manifests as abnormal water tank levels leading to flushing failure. Causes include old water supply pipes, unstable water pressure, or a faulty water level sensor. During maintenance, check if the water valve is fully open, clean impurities from the filter to restore water pressure, and test if the water level sensor circuit is properly connected. If water pressure remains unstable, contact the water supply department to inspect the pipes.

E3 Fault
Manifests as power system abnormalities (e.g., automatic lid/flushing stops) or heating plate failure (inability to heat). It may be caused by motor failure, blocked cooling vents, or power supply issues. During maintenance, first cut off the power supply, check if the cooling vents are blocked by dust, clean them, and restart the device; if the problem persists, check if the power cord is loose and test if the heating plate connection is normal. Motor failures require professional replacement.

E4 Fault
Manifests as no hot air during drying, sewage backflow, or blocked drainage pipes. Usually caused by drying/drainage system issues or foreign objects blocking the pipes. During maintenance, first restart the toilet to attempt to restore function; if drainage is blocked, use professional tools to unclog the pipes or disassemble the drainage valve to clean internal foreign objects. For drying system failures, check if the heating element is damaged.

E9 Fault
Manifests as communication failures between the seat computer board and the central control panel (common) or thermal overload protection (in a few models). It may be caused by a damp circuit board, oxidized contact points, or overheating of the heating element. During maintenance, check if the power supply is stable, restart the device to see if the fault is resolved; if the circuit board is damp, use a desiccant or contact after-sales service for inspection; oxidized contact points can be cleaned with alcohol wipes.

Other Common Faults

  • Abnormal nozzle water flow: Faulty flow meter/pressure regulator or blocked water circuit. Check the water circuit connections and clean internal nozzle scale.
  • Water not heating: Damaged heating tube, temperature sensor, or computer board. Use a multimeter to test the heating tube resistance and replace faulty components.
  • Seat not heating: Faulty heating wire, temperature sensor, or computer board. Disassemble the seat to check if the heating wire is broken and test the sensor resistance.
  • Leakage: Damaged water tank, cleaner, or drainage valve components. Replace seals or damaged valve components.

General Recommendations: Prioritize cutting off the power and restarting the device to clear temporary faults; regularly clean the water inlet filter and induction probe to avoid impurity buildup; when involving circuit board or core component maintenance, it is recommended to contact official after-sales service to prevent secondary damage due to improper operation. If the fault code is not listed above, further inspection is required based on the specific brand and model.
