Mobile Toilet Maintenance and Fault Handling

Admin October 05, 2026

Mobile toilet maintenance and fault handling should be carried out in a targeted manner according to different fault types. The specific methods are as follows:

Overall Structure and Appearance Maintenance

  1. Box Deformation or Cracking: If small cracks occur due to external impact or long-term uneven force, they can be repaired with special plastic welding materials. If the deformation is severe or affects the sealing performance, the box or related components need to be replaced.
  2. Door Lock and Hinge Faults: Regularly apply lubricating oil to the hinges and lock cores to prevent rusting. If the lock spring fails or the structure is damaged, replace the entire lock set directly.
  3. Vent Blockage: Regularly clean the leaves, dust, or insect nests at the top vents to ensure air circulation.

Sanitary System and Flushing Devices

  1. Manual/Pedal-Operated Flushing Valve Faults:
    • Symptoms: Unable to rebound when pressed, weak or no water flow.
    • Causes: Spring failure inside the valve, aging of the sealing ring, or blockage by scale.
    • Handling: Close the inlet valve, disassemble the flushing valve, clean the scale, replace the aging sealing ring or spring; if the valve body is cracked, replace the entire unit.
  2. Automatic Induction Flushing Device Problems:
    • No flushing or continuous flushing: First, check the power supply (battery level) and whether the infrared sensing window is blocked by dirt. If the problem persists, it may be a fault with the control board or solenoid valve, requiring professional repair.
  3. Water Storage Tank and Pipeline Leakage:
    • Minor leakage: Repair with waterproof sealing tape or special adhesive.
    • Severe cracks: Replace the water tank directly.

Waste Collection and Treatment System
Packing Toilet Faults: If packing is incomplete or impossible, check whether related components (such as biodegradable film, packing mechanism) are damaged or stuck.

Other Common Faults

  1. Odor Diffusion:
    • Causes: Poor ventilation, leakage in the treatment system, or loose sealing of sanitary fixtures.
    • Handling: Check whether the exhaust fan and ventilation window are working properly; tighten the sealing parts of the treatment box and sewage tank; clean the treatment box and replace aging seals.
  2. Sanitary Fixture Blockage: Use a疏通工具 (unclogging tool) to clear debris and post signs prohibiting the disposal of foreign objects.
  3. Ventilation Faults: Check the exhaust fan's power supply and wiring, clean debris from the ventilation ducts, and repair or replace damaged exhaust fans.
  4. Water and Electricity Faults: Check the wiring, fuses, and valve cores, and promptly replace damaged components to restore use.
