Mobile Toilet Lifting Hook

Admin September 22, 2026

Key points regarding the lifting hook for mobile toilets are as follows:

Stress Points of the Lifting Hook: When lifting a mobile toilet, there are four lifting rings on the top of the toilet that serve as the stress points for the lifting hook. These lifting rings are welded by the manufacturer before leaving the factory. These four lifting rings are evenly distributed on the top of the toilet, ensuring that the toilet is evenly stressed during the lifting process and preventing structural damage or unstable lifting due to excessive local stress.

Requirements for Sling Connection: The crane hook and the toilet lifting rings should be connected with a separate sling that is no less than 6 meters long. Using a sling of sufficient length ensures that there is enough adjustment space during the lifting process, allowing the toilet to remain stable. At the same time, using a separate sling connection avoids interference between different lifting points, ensuring that each lifting ring can independently bear the corresponding tension and improving the safety of the lifting operation.

Precautions during Unloading: When unloading, it is necessary to keep the toilet stable and try to keep it in a horizontal position to avoid the phenomenon of hook disengagement due to inclined lifting. Inclined lifting will shift the center of gravity of the toilet, increasing the difficulty and risk of the lifting operation. It is likely to cause the sling to slip or the lifting ring to be damaged, leading to safety accidents. Therefore, during the unloading process, operators should cooperate closely and slowly and steadily place the toilet at the designated location.

Selection of Crane Tonnage: Depending on the size of the toilet, an appropriate crane tonnage should be selected. For toilets with 2 - 4 compartments, it is recommended to use a crane with a tonnage of 12 tons or above. For toilets with 5 - 6 compartments, a crane with a tonnage of 16 tons or above is recommended. For toilets with 7 compartments or more, a crane with a tonnage of 20 tons or above is recommended. Selecting a crane with the appropriate tonnage ensures that the crane has sufficient lifting capacity, preventing unexpected situations during the lifting process due to insufficient crane tonnage and ensuring the smooth progress of the lifting operation.
