Water Inside Mobile Toilets

Admin October 02, 2026

The water inside mobile toilets is mainly used for sewage treatment, fecal treatment, and discharge processes, with different types of mobile toilets having varying water usage and discharge methods.

Sewage Treatment Methods

  • Sewage Tank Collection: Suitable for short-term use scenarios, such as temporary event sites. Once the sewage tank is full, it is transported by a sewage suction truck to a sewage treatment plant. This method does not involve internal water recycling but simply collects sewage.
  • Biochemical Treatment: Commonly used in long-term locations like scenic spots and exhibitions. Sewage is purified through microbial degradation technology and can be directly discharged once it meets standards. Microorganisms decompose organic matter in the sewage under suitable conditions to achieve purification.
  • Water Recycling System: Urine is separated and filtered to enable partial water resource recycling, resulting in significant water conservation. For example, some advanced mobile toilets can reuse treated water for flushing and other purposes.

Fecal Treatment-Related Water Usage Methods

  • Water-Flush and Non-Water-Flush Suction Types: Water-flush toilets have a flushing device, with the water tank typically placed on top of the toilet and a sewage tank at the bottom. Non-water-flush toilets lack a flushing device and rely on a bottom sewage tank to collect waste. Both types of sewage tanks have small capacities and require timely suction.
  • Recirculating Water-Flush Type: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic fecal sewage treatment devices, biological strains are added, and biofilm technology is used to accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of fecal sewage, which is then recycled for toilet flushing, improving water resource utilization.
  • Foam Sealing Type: Uses foam generated by a foaming liquid mixture to replace toilet flushing. This system can meet its foaming water needs by collecting hand-washing water alone, reducing water usage.
  • Microbial Type: Urine is filtered and enters a comprehensive urine treatment system, where it is processed into reclaimed water through aeration, evaporation, decolorization, and other processes, which is then used to flush the urinal again, forming a cycle and achieving effective water resource utilization.

Sewage Discharge Methods

  • Conventional Water-Flush Type: Requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes. Sewage is discharged manually or automatically into a septic tank or municipal sewer network, suitable for various water-rich environments with lower construction costs.
  • Vacuum Sewage System: Utilizes negative pressure principles, with a vacuum pump sucking sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset level, the vacuum pump automatically starts, offering high efficiency and low water consumption while effectively preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion.
  • Water-Storage Sewage System: Uses water flushing to discharge waste into a storage tank. When the sewage reaches a preset level, the flushing device automatically starts. When the storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced, suitable for locations with sufficient water sources and easy cleaning.
