Mobile Toilet Interior

Admin September 20, 2026

The interior of mobile toilets is typically designed around the needs of 'hygiene, convenience, and durability,' with core configurations including four major modules: sanitary fixtures, environmental control, water supply and drainage and power systems, and structural accessories.

1. Core Sanitary Fixtures

  • Toilets: Primarily ceramic squat toilets or sit-down toilets, with high-end products using stainless steel materials, equipped with foot-operated or sensor-operated flush valves, and water tank capacities of 5-10 liters, balancing water conservation with cleaning efficiency.
  • Handwashing Systems: Standard configurations include ceramic or stainless steel handwashing basins (30-40 cm wide), push-type or sensor-operated faucets, with some integrating storage tanks for scenarios without external water sources.
  • Auxiliary Accessories: Includes mirrors, coat hooks, storage shelves, toilet paper holders, and trash cans; high-specification products add child safety seats or toilet seat covers to enhance convenience.

2. Environmental Control Systems

  • Ventilation Systems: Utilize 20-50 watt powerful exhaust fans to ensure 10-15 air changes per hour, with some designs featuring dual exhaust at the top or side walls to enhance odor removal.
  • Lighting Systems: Primarily use 5-15 watt LED energy-saving lights, with some equipped with emergency lights to ensure low energy consumption and continuous lighting needs.
  • Temperature Control Systems: In cold regions, insulation materials, electric heaters, or small warm air blowers are installed to prevent freezing; in hot regions, ventilation skylights or small air conditioners are added to maintain a comfortable internal temperature.

3. Water Supply and Drainage and Power Systems

  • Water Supply Systems: Divided into self-contained tank types (freshwater tank capacities of 100-300 liters, supplied by water pumps or gravity) and external water source types (directly connected to municipal water pipes).
  • Sewage Systems: Traditional methods use bottom sewage tanks (capacities of 200-500 liters), requiring regular pumping; environmentally friendly types adopt foam sealing or microbial degradation technologies to reduce odors and cleaning frequency.
  • Power Systems: Support 220V mains power access or are powered by built-in batteries (e.g., 12V/100Ah) and solar panels to drive exhaust fans, lighting, and sensor devices.

4. Structural and Accessories

  • Door Locks and Indicators: Internal safety door locks are installed, with external 'occupied/unoccupied' indicator locks or LED displays to ensure privacy and transparent usage status.
  • Materials and Flooring: Wall panels use high-density polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass, or color-coated steel plates, which are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean; flooring is laid with anti-slip floors or fiberglass floor grilles, balancing anti-slip and waterproofing.
  • Barrier-Free Facilities: Designed for special populations, with expanded internal space, equipped with handrails, wheelchair turning space, and low-position handwashing basins, reflecting humanized care.

In addition, some intelligent and environmentally friendly mobile public toilets also integrate technological configurations such as smart mirrors and breathing lights to further enhance the user experience.
