Mobile Toilet Insulation Facilities
The insulation facilities of mobile toilets ensure normal operation in extremely cold environments through a three-level protection system of 'insulation - heat tracing - heating', combined with intelligent temperature control technology, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Basic Insulation Structure
It adopts a double-layer wall design. The outer layer is made of color-coated steel plates or metal carved plates, the inner layer is fireproof boards, and the space in between is filled with high-efficiency insulation materials such as polyurethane foam or rock wool, forming a continuous thermal insulation layer. The roof is seamlessly covered through polyurethane foam spraying technology to avoid the cold bridge effect. Windows and doors are equipped with EPDM rubber sealing strips, and the ventilation openings are upgraded to temperature-controlled louver devices to reduce heat loss. The drainage pipes are filled with expanded perlite and equipped with heat tracing cables to further block the heat conduction path.
2. Pipe Anti-freezing System
All pipelines are covered with rubber insulation sleeves, and key nodes such as valves are overlaid with double-layer insulation materials. Self-limiting heat tracing cables are wound around the pipes, and an intelligent temperature control box is provided. When the ambient temperature is below 5℃, it automatically starts heating to prevent freezing and cracking. The drainage system works in coordination with the expanded perlite filling and heat tracing cables to ensure smooth sewage flow.
3. Active Heating Solutions
- Electric Heating: PTC ceramic heating sheets are installed on the walls of the toilet area. They can raise the temperature by 15℃ within 5 minutes, and the surface temperature is controlled below 60℃ to avoid the risk of scalding.
- Air Conditioning System: It is equipped with a temperature sensor for automatic constant temperature control and is suitable for moderate climatic conditions.
- Fuel-fired Hot Air: A 30,000 kcal/h fuel-fired hot air blower evenly distributes air through ducts, which can quickly raise the internal temperature and is suitable for extremely low-temperature environments.
- Municipal Heat Source: Scenic spots with conditions can connect to the central heating system and achieve continuous and stable heating through radiators, reducing operating costs.
4. Innovative Technology Applications
- Waste Heat Recovery: The hot air at 50 - 60℃ generated by the aeration fan of the treatment equipment is used to preheat the water body, improving energy utilization efficiency.
- Intelligent Control: It integrates functions such as temperature sensing, power regulation, and fault alarming to achieve 24-hour unattended operation. Some models support remote monitoring and automatic maintenance reminders, improving management efficiency.
5. Safety Protection Measures
- Fire and Freezing Prevention: Regularly clean up fallen leaves and flammable materials around the area. Add antifreeze or alcohol salt water to the water tank to lower the freezing point.
- Anti-slip and Anti-leakage: Lay anti-slip mats and anti-freezing curtains on the ground. Install anti-freezing devices at the toilet drainage openings to prevent equipment damage caused by freezing.
