Mobile Toilet Installation Work
Admin October 06, 2026
The installation of mobile toilets requires a systematic approach covering four stages: pre-installation preparation, on-site installation, post-installation inspection and handover, and safety management. The specific process is as follows:

I. Pre-Installation Preparation
- Site Survey and Planning Confirm the installation location with the client in advance, avoiding low-lying areas prone to waterlogging, high-voltage power lines, and obstacles. When measuring the site dimensions, ensure that the width of the toilet access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve sufficient operating space to prevent installation obstructions.
- Material Inventory and Inspection Upon arrival, verify the quantity, model, and accessories (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.) of the mobile toilets. Focus on inspecting the equipment for any external damage and ensuring the internal facilities are intact to avoid rework due to material issues.
- Tool and Personnel Preparation Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional installers. If the toilet is large or the installation environment is complex, coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes to assist with handling and ensure construction efficiency.
II. On-Site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing After hoisting the toilet body to the designated location, use a spirit level to adjust the equipment's stability, with a deviation ≤3mm. Secure the equipment with expansion bolts or counterweights to prevent tipping, especially in areas with strong winds where additional fixing measures are required.
- Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection tank, ensuring a pipe slope ≥2% to prevent sewage backflow. When connecting the water supply, it is recommended to use a water pipe ≥DN20. Test the flushing function and drainage seal to ensure no leaks.
- Detail Inspection and Cleaning After installing accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, check the flexibility of the door lock and flushing button. Clean and disinfect the interior, and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper to enhance the user experience.
III. Post-Installation Inspection and Handover
- Function Test Checklist Conduct a flushing test (press the flushing button three times continuously to confirm smooth drainage without blockage) and a load-bearing test (evenly step on the top of the equipment to check structural stability) to ensure the equipment functions properly.
- Handover Document Confirmation Provide the client with an 'Equipment Installation Inspection and Acceptance Form', specifying the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions to facilitate subsequent maintenance and responsibility division.
IV. Precautions and Safety Regulations
- Installation Safety Requirements When working at heights, a safety harness must be worn. Installation is prohibited in windy conditions ≥ force 5. Smoking or the use of open-flame equipment is strictly prohibited inside the toilet, and it should be kept away from fire sources to prevent fires.
- Construction Site Management Delineate the construction area and set up warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching. For night construction, provide sufficient lighting and install reflective strips on the equipment to enhance visibility and reduce accident risks.
