Mobile Toilet Installation Specification

Admin September 22, 2026

The installation specification for mobile toilets covers three main aspects: pre-installation preparation, basic installation, and lighting system installation (if equipped), all of which must strictly adhere to technical requirements and safety standards.

Pre-Installation Preparation

  1. Demand and Type Planning: Estimate the number of users based on the scale of the event. Typically, one mobile toilet is allocated for every 50-100 people. For mixed-gender events, allocate toilet stalls in a 1:1 ratio and consider adding accessible restrooms. For example, a 500-person event requires at least 5-10 toilet stalls, with accessible stalls accounting for no less than 5%.
  2. Rental Company Qualification Review: Select suppliers with proper business licenses and sanitation permits. Verify their past project cases and whether their service scope covers the installation area. Ensure that the transportation and installation teams possess professional qualifications.
  3. Site Survey and Layout: Measure the site dimensions and avoid hazardous areas such as low-lying waterlogged zones and high-voltage power lines. The distance from the toilet stalls to the main event area should not exceed 30 meters on foot, and clear directional signs should be installed to facilitate quick location by users.

Basic Installation Specifications

  1. Leveling and Stability: Mobile toilets must be placed level on a solid ground surface and secured with expansion bolts or ground anchors to prevent tipping due to uneven ground or external forces.
  2. Sewage Pipe Connection: The sewage pipe must be directly connected to the municipal sewer network or a designated collection point, with sealed joints to prevent sewage leakage. If direct connection is not possible, a well-sealed sewage storage tank must be provided and regularly cleaned.
  3. Water and Electricity Access Safety: Water and electricity lines must comply with national safety standards. Electrical facilities should use waterproof sockets and be equipped with leakage protection devices. Water pipe connections should be sealed with PTFE tape to prevent leakage.

Lighting System Installation Specifications (if equipped)

  1. Equipment Selection Principles: Prioritize low-voltage (e.g., 12V) LED fixtures with an IP65 or higher protection rating to withstand outdoor humid and dusty environments. The light source lifespan should exceed 20,000 hours to reduce maintenance frequency.
  2. Pre-Installation Preparation: Check if the toilet has reserved lighting installation holes or power outlets. Prepare tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and waterproof tape. Confirm that the installation location is free of obstructions to ensure light coverage inside the toilet stalls.
  3. Basic Installation Steps: Drill holes in the ceiling or sidewalls to secure the fixture brackets. Connect the live, neutral, and ground wires according to the instructions. Install waterproof switches or remote-controlled switches to avoid frequent plugging and unplugging at night.
  4. Safety Precautions: Wrap wire joints with insulating tape. Regularly test the lighting effect and clean the fixture surfaces. If the toilet needs to be moved, disconnect the power supply in advance and check the integrity of the wiring.
