Mobile Toilet Installation Requirements
Admin September 24, 2026
The installation of mobile toilets requires standardized operations in four aspects: foundation requirements, pre-installation preparations, installation steps, and post-installation precautions to ensure safety and functionality.

I. Foundation Requirements
- Load-Bearing Capacity: The foundation must be designed according to the type of mobile toilet. Lightweight toilets require a load-bearing capacity of ≥100 kPa, while larger modular toilets require higher capacities, calculated based on their dimensions and usage loads to prevent sinking or tilting.
- Flatness and Stability: The surface flatness error should be ≤20 mm/㎡ to avoid shaking after installation. Avoid areas prone to geological disasters such as landslides and mudslides. Soft soil foundations require replacement or compaction.
- Dimensions and Surface Quality: The foundation dimensions should be slightly larger than the toilet's base outline, with space reserved around the perimeter for installation. The surface must be solid and crack-free to prevent crack propagation affecting stability.
- Corrosion Protection: In corrosive environments such as coastal areas, the foundation should use corrosion-resistant materials (e.g., epoxy resin coatings) or add protective layers to prevent seawater erosion.
II. Pre-Installation Preparations
- Site Confirmation: Choose a flat and solid area, away from low-lying areas prone to water accumulation. Reserve an operating space of ≥0.5 meters around the perimeter for easy installation and maintenance.
- Tools and Personnel: Check that tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers are complete, and equip with auxiliary tools like anti-slip gloves and tape measures. Assign dedicated personnel to assist on-site and prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering the work area.
III. Installation Steps
- Positioning the Main Body: Move the toilet to the designated location using lifting or towing methods, and adjust the bottom legs to ensure level placement.
- Drainage Connection: Connect the drainage pipe to the municipal sewer or collection tank, and check the seal of the interface to prevent leakage.
- Water and Electricity Connection: Electrical connections must be performed by a professional electrician; unauthorized connections are prohibited. The water inlet should be connected to a clean water source to avoid contamination.
- Internal Inspection: Test the functions of doors, locks, and flushing systems, and remove any sharp objects or debris inside to ensure safe use.
IV. Post-Installation Precautions
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean up surrounding garbage and standing water, place a "Cleaned" sign, and maintain a tidy environment.
- User Training: Explain operation points such as flushing methods and emergency button locations to users to avoid misuse damaging the equipment.
- Regular Inspections: Inspect the toilet's condition daily during events, and contact maintenance promptly if blockages or damage are found to ensure normal operation.
