Mobile Toilet Installation Method

Admin October 07, 2026

The installation method for mobile toilets varies depending on the type, mainly divided into two scenarios: ready-to-use finished products and on-site assembly. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Ordinary Mobile Toilets (Finished Product Transportation)

Some mobile toilets have their main structures assembled at the factory and can be used directly or simply spliced together upon arrival at the site. These toilets are usually equipped with a complete sewage system, lighting, and ventilation equipment. Users only need to confirm that the installation location is flat and stable and connect the water and electricity (if external power or water sources are required). If multiple units are to be spliced, they should be aligned and fixed using the connectors or buckles provided by the manufacturer to ensure structural tightness.

2. Mobile Toilets Requiring On-Site Assembly

If the mobile toilet requires on-site assembly, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare Tools: Electric drill, 4.2mm drill bit, rivet gun, level (optional).
  2. Install Inner Corners: Fix the inner corners of the toilet frame in the predetermined positions one by one, ensuring that the angles are perpendicular and the connections are firm.
  3. Assemble Panels: Insert the wall panels, roof panels, and other components into the slots, align the upper and lower edges, and check that the joints are tight and seamless.
  4. Drill Holes for Fixing: Use an electric drill to drill holes at the positions marked in the instructions on the panel connections. The hole diameter should match the rivets.
  5. Rivet and Reinforce: After inserting the rivets, use a rivet gun to complete the fixing, ensuring that all connection points are stable and not loose.

3. Notes on Pipeline Adjustment (If Required)

If the mobile toilet involves relocating the sewage pipeline (e.g., using a toilet offset flange), this operation should be completed before laying floor tiles:

  • Slope Control: The pipeline should maintain a 5% slope to ensure smooth drainage.
  • Long-Distance Relocation: For every 100mm of pipeline, raise it by approximately 5mm to avoid blockages.

4. Other Recommendations

  • Refer to the Manual: Different models of mobile toilets may have structural differences. Before installation, be sure to read the operation manual provided by the manufacturer in detail.
  • Contact Customer Service: If complex issues arise during installation (e.g., pipeline connection, electrical connection), it is recommended to contact the manufacturer's technical support directly to avoid equipment damage caused by improper operation.

The installation of mobile toilets should balance structural stability and functionality. Following the steps strictly can ensure safety and longevity of use.
