Mobile Toilet Installation Knowledge

Admin September 21, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets requires selecting appropriate methods based on their structural form and sewage treatment method, and following standardized steps for operation. Here is specific installation knowledge:

I. Installation Points Classified by Structural Form

  1. Single-unit Mobile Toilets
These toilets are usually independent units. During installation, ensure the ground is flat and solid to prevent tilting or damage due to unstable foundations. Before installation, check whether the main structure of the toilet is intact, such as whether there are any deformations or cracks in components like the door frame, walls, and roof. During installation, assemble the components in the order specified in the instructions, for example, first fix the base, then install the walls and roof, and finally connect the doors and windows. Some single-unit toilets require on-site installation of internal facilities such as toilets and sinks. Ensure that the pipe connections are tight to prevent water leakage.

  2. Composite-structure Mobile Toilets
Composite structures are usually composed of multiple modules and are suitable for large venues or temporary events. Before installation, plan the layout well and determine the positions and connection methods of each module. During installation, first fix the main module and then connect the other modules in sequence, ensuring that the connections are well-sealed. The piping system of composite-structure toilets is relatively complex and should be operated by professionals to avoid sewage leakage or poor drainage due to improper installation.

II. Installation Points Classified by Sewage Treatment Method

  1. Flush-type Mobile Toilets
These require connection to a water source and drainage pipes. Before installation, confirm whether there is a stable water supply and drainage system on site. During installation, correctly connect the water inlet and drainage pipes to the main body of the toilet and check whether the water pressure meets the requirements. Some flush-type toilets require the installation of a water tank or pump. Ensure that the equipment operates normally to avoid incomplete flushing due to insufficient water pressure.

  2. Waterless Suction-type Mobile Toilets
These toilets use a vacuum pump or gravity to suck feces into a fecal storage tank. During installation, ensure that the position of the fecal storage tank is reasonable for easy regular cleaning. Check whether the vacuum pump or suction pipes are unobstructed during installation to avoid blockages. Some waterless toilets require the installation of deodorization devices. Ensure that the equipment operates normally to reduce odor diffusion.

  3. Recirculating Water Mobile Toilets
These require the installation of a sewage treatment system to purify wastewater for reuse. During installation, ensure that the sewage treatment equipment is correctly connected to the main body of the toilet and check whether the filtration system is effective. Recirculating water toilets require regular maintenance of the sewage treatment equipment to avoid water quality deterioration due to equipment failure.

III. General Installation Steps

  1. Unpacking Inspection: After receiving the mobile toilet, open the package and check whether all accessories such as screws, pipes, and gaskets are present to avoid affecting the installation progress due to missing parts.
  2. Foundation Preparation: Select an appropriate foundation according to the type of toilet, such as a concrete floor or a moisture-proof mat, ensuring that the ground is flat and dry.
  3. Main Body Assembly: Assemble the main body of the toilet in the order specified in the instructions, ensuring that all components are tightly connected without looseness.
  4. Pipe Connection: Connect the water inlet pipe, drainage pipe, or suction pipe according to the sewage treatment method, ensuring that the connections are well-sealed without leakage.
  5. Function Testing: After installation, conduct function tests such as flushing, drainage, and suction to ensure that the toilet operates normally.
