How to Set Up a Mobile Toilet

Admin October 01, 2026

The setup of a mobile toilet requires a step-by-step process, covering mobile preparation, pipeline modification, waterproofing treatment, and functional debugging. Details are as follows:

I. Preparation Before Moving

  1. Feasibility Assessment: Clarify the reasons for moving and the new location. Prioritize areas close to the original sewage pipeline to reduce the difficulty and cost of pipeline modification. If the new location is far from the original pipeline, plan a relocation scheme in advance.
  2. Structural Condition Inspection: Confirm the ground material (such as tiles or cement) and the condition of the base layer to determine whether it is necessary to chisel the ground and lay pipes in trenches. Flat-layer structures may require damaging part of the ground, so prepare for repairs in advance.
  3. Tool and Material Preparation: Include basic tools such as wrenches, cutting machines, PVC pipes, sealants, and flange rings. If a smart toilet is involved, prepare power sockets and waterproof protective devices as well. Non-professionals are advised to contact construction personnel for assistance to avoid operational errors.

II. Pipeline Modification and Installation Points

  1. Sewage Pipeline Adjustment: The new pipeline should maintain a slope of more than 1% to ensure smooth drainage. Use sealants or hot-melt connections at the joints to prevent leakage. If the distance from the original pipeline exceeds 1.5 meters, a special relocator should be used, but the length should not be too long to avoid blockage.
  2. Toilet Installation Specifications: Place the flange ring flat on the sewage outlet to ensure a tight fit between the toilet base and the ground. After installation, flush multiple times to test the drainage effect and check for leaks around the toilet. If leakage is found, reseal or adjust the position of the flange ring.

III. Waterproofing and Ground Treatment

  1. Waterproof Layer Construction: After cleaning the base layer, apply waterproof coating, focusing on areas prone to leakage such as pipeline roots and corners. The waterproof layer should be applied twice with uniform thickness. After drying, conduct a closed-water test.
  2. Closed-Water Test: Fill with water to a height of not less than 2 centimeters and maintain for 24 hours to check for leaks in the area below or adjacent areas. After confirming no problems, lay floor tiles and restore the ground flatness.

IV. Smart Toilet Function Settings (if applicable)

  1. Button Settings: Press and hold the 'Settings' button on the side of the toilet to enter the interface, adjust parameters such as automatic lid opening and flushing mode, and then save.
  2. Mobile APP Settings: Scan the QR code to download the corresponding APP, connect, and remotely adjust parameters such as seat temperature, water temperature, and flush volume. Ensure the power connection is safe and avoid operating the socket with wet hands.

Precautions:

  • Moving the toilet may damage the original waterproof layer, so reconstruction and a strict closed-water test are necessary.
  • When using a relocator, control the length and avoid exceeding 1.5 meters to reduce the risk of blockage.
  • A power socket should be reserved for the smart toilet, and the circuit safety should be checked regularly.
