Mobile Toilet Installation Drain Outlet

Admin October 19, 2026

When installing the drain outlet of a mobile toilet, it is essential to focus on the connection of the inlet pipe, the对接 (connection) of the sewage system, the installation position of the drain outlet, and the valve status. If necessary, the position can be adjusted, but the displacement distance must be controlled and the drainage slope must be ensured.

1. Connection Requirements for the Drain Outlet, Inlet Pipe, and Sewage System

During the installation of a mobile toilet, the drain outlet must be designed in coordination with the overall water system. The inlet pipe needs to be connected to the municipal water supply network as the source of flushing water, ensuring stable water pressure that meets the equipment requirements. The sewage system must be correctly connected to external sewage pipes or sewage storage facilities. For water-flush direct-discharge toilets, it is necessary to confirm the tightness of the connection between the drain outlet and the bottom sewage storage tank (black water tank) to prevent sewage leakage.

2. Key Points for Installing the Drain Outlet of a Water-Flush Direct-Discharge Mobile Toilet

The core of such toilets is to collect waste into the black water tank through clean water flushing. Therefore, the installation of the drain outlet must meet the following conditions:

  1. Position Confirmation: The drain outlet must be installed at the bottom of the toilet body, aligned with the inlet of the black water tank to ensure smooth flow of waste.
  2. Valve Status: After installation, check whether the sewage valve is in the closed position to prevent sewage overflow during transportation or installation.
  3. Sealing Test: Verify the tightness of the connection between the drain outlet and the black water tank through a water injection test to avoid odors or leakage caused by loosening after long-term use.

3. Precautions for Adjusting the Position of the Drain Outlet

If the position of the drain outlet needs to be adjusted due to site limitations, modifications can be made by referring to the principle of a toilet position shifter, but the following specifications must be strictly followed:

  1. Displacement Distance Limitation: When changing the position of the drain outlet through pipe fittings, the displacement distance should generally not exceed 15 centimeters. Exceeding this limit may result in poor drainage.
  2. Drainage Slope Requirement: The adjusted pipe must maintain a slope of at least 2% (i.e., a drop of 2 centimeters per meter) to ensure that sewage can naturally drain by gravity and avoid blockages.
  3. Pipe Fitting Selection: Prioritize the use of dedicated position shifters or PVC pipes with smooth inner walls to reduce the risk of waste sticking to the walls. At the same time, avoid using right-angle elbows to reduce drainage resistance.

4. Acceptance Criteria After Installation

After completing the installation and adjustment of the drain outlet, a functional test must be conducted:

  • Open the inlet valve, flush the toilet, and observe whether the black water tank collects waste normally;
  • Open the sewage valve and check whether the sewage can be discharged smoothly without residue;
  • Confirm that there are no leaks at the pipe connections and no abnormal noises or odors during drainage.
