Mobile Toilet Installation Conditions
Admin September 21, 2026
The installation of mobile toilets must meet conditions related to the foundation, on-site survey, and basic installation specifications. The specific requirements are as follows:

Foundation Requirements
- Load-Bearing Capacity: The foundation must have sufficient strength to support the weight of the mobile toilet. Lightweight mobile toilets require a foundation bearing capacity of no less than 100 kPa, while large modular toilets require even higher bearing capacity to prevent structural tilting or damage due to foundation settlement.
- Flatness and Stability: The foundation surface must be flat, with an error margin of no more than 20 mm per square meter, to prevent shaking after toilet installation. Additionally, the foundation should avoid areas prone to geological disasters such as landslides and mudslides. Soft soil foundations must be reinforced through methods like replacement or compaction to ensure long-term stability.
- Dimensions and Surface Quality: The foundation dimensions should be slightly larger than the toilet's base outline, with installation and maintenance space reserved around the perimeter (typically 20-30 cm). The surface must be solid and crack-free to prevent damage to the toilet due to foundation instability.
- Corrosion Protection: In corrosive environments such as coastal areas, the foundation must use corrosion-resistant materials (e.g., concrete with corrosion inhibitors) or be coated with anti-corrosion layers to extend service life.
On-Site Survey Before Installation
- Key Area Positioning: The toilet installation location must be confirmed with the organizer, prioritizing high-traffic areas such as event start/finish lines, refreshment stations, and spectator zones to ensure convenience of use.
- Safety Distance and Access: The toilet should be placed within 300 meters of the athlete assembly area while avoiding areas with dense drainage pipes to prevent damage to underground facilities during construction. A safety access of at least 1.5 meters wide must be reserved in the installation area for personnel evacuation and equipment maintenance.
Basic Installation Specifications
- Ground Preparation: Before installation, the ground must be leveled, and non-slip mats or drainage slopes should be laid to prevent water accumulation after rain. If the ground is soil or loose material, it must be compacted or a concrete base layer must be poured.
- Fixing Method: The toilet base should be fixed to the foundation using expansion bolts or stabilized with counterweights (e.g., concrete blocks) to prevent tipping in strong winds.
- Water and Electricity Connections: The sewage pipe must be connected to the municipal sewer network or septic tank to ensure smooth drainage. The power supply line should be kept away from water sources to avoid electric shock risks. For waterless toilets, a fecal storage tank must be provided and cleaned regularly.
By strictly adhering to the above conditions, the mobile toilet can be ensured to be structurally stable, safe to use, and meet long-term operational requirements after installation.
