Inspection Standards for Mobile Toilets

Admin September 24, 2026

The inspection standards for mobile toilets cover aspects such as basic equipment requirements, structure and materials, sewage discharge systems, supporting facilities and functions, testing methods, and relevant certifications and implementation standards.

Basic Equipment Requirements: The equipment must be brand new and unused, meeting the quality, specifications, and performance requirements specified in the bidding technical documents. Under correct installation, use, and maintenance conditions, it should perform satisfactorily throughout its service life. The quantity of equipment and the materials used must also fully comply with the technical provisions in the bidding documents.

Structure and Material Standards: The frame structure typically employs hot-dip galvanized steel pipes or steel structures, characterized by high strength, corrosion resistance, and wind pressure resistance. For wall materials, the exterior walls commonly use metal carved panels or color-steel composite panels, while the interior walls often utilize easy-to-clean and moisture-resistant materials such as stone plastic panels or aluminum-plastic panels, with flame-retardant insulation materials filled inside. The floor must be waterproof and slip-resistant, commonly using slip-resistant patterned aluminum panels or reinforced composite flooring.

Sewage Discharge System Standards: The water-flush direct discharge type must be connected to municipal sewage discharge pipelines, with a stable and water-saving flushing system. The waterless packing/microbial degradation type is suitable for places without sewage discharge networks, requiring good sealing, no odor leakage, and high degradation efficiency. The recirculating water flushing type purifies the flushing water through biological treatment technology for recirculation, necessitating guaranteed water treatment purification effects and the stability of the recirculation system.

Supporting Facilities and Function Standards: The interior should be equipped with basic facilities such as exhaust fans and lighting. For ventilation and deodorization, an effective ventilation and exhaust system must be configured. In terms of electrical safety, all electrical wiring must be moisture-resistant, waterproof, and grounded for protection.

Testing Methods: These include supervisory testing, on-site testing, operational testing, etc., and also involve specific testing items such as appearance and decorative quality inspection, wind resistance performance, sealing and waterproof detection, and airtightness detection of the toilet body.

Relevant Certifications and Implementation Standards: Referable national standards include industry standards such as 'GB/T 18092 - 2000 Waterless Flush Sanitary Toilets' and 'CJ/T 378 - 2011 Portable Toilets'.
