Mobile Toilets in Private Places
Mobile toilets are generally set up in public places, but similar facilities are also used in private settings.

Mobile toilets are typically installed at specific locations to meet fixed or temporary needs, with public places such as stations, docks, and tourist attractions being common sites. These locations have high foot traffic and a greater demand for sanitation facilities, and mobile toilets can flexibly meet people's restroom needs in public areas while being easy to manage and maintain.
However, there are also instances where similar mobile toilet facilities are used in private settings. For example, in Lijiashan Village, Luliang, Shanxi, a private dry toilet belonging to a villager was used by tourists as an emergency restroom when the public toilets in the scenic area were out of service. This private dry toilet was not part of the scenic area's facilities; it was originally for the villager's own use. When the public toilets in the scenic area were not functioning properly, it temporarily took on the role of providing a restroom for tourists.
From a management perspective, similar mobile toilet facilities in private settings differ significantly from those in public places. In private settings, the cleaning is usually done by the villagers themselves. The borrowing of these facilities by a large number of tourists brings many inconveniences to the villagers. On the one hand, it increases the sanitation burden, as the garbage and stains left by tourists require the villagers to spend more time and effort cleaning. On the other hand, the frequent cleaning work also consumes a great deal of the villagers' physical energy.
In addition, there may be some other issues with setting up similar mobile toilet facilities in private settings. For instance, since the facilities in private settings may not receive regular professional maintenance and updates like those in public places, their sanitation and safety conditions may be relatively poor. Moreover, the layout and space in private settings are limited, and they may not be able to meet the needs of a large number of tourists using them simultaneously, which can easily lead to congestion and chaos.
