Mobile Toilet in Container Form

Admin October 10, 2026

A mobile toilet in container form is a portable public toilet facility that adopts the form of a container or packing-box unit, featuring convenient transportation and multiple uses.

I. Structural Composition A mobile toilet in container form is typically composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, a water tank, a roof, a mobile device, etc. Taking a customized packing-box toilet for a certain customer as an example, it has an energy-saving light switch at the entrance. Inside, it is equipped with three urinals with partitions and five squatting stalls with compartments, which not only protect privacy but also enhance the user experience. It is also equipped with ventilation louvers to avoid odors and includes an energy-saving flush tank and a ceramic toilet bowl to ensure hygiene and water-saving functions.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They are divided into single-unit mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-unit structures are usually independent units suitable for small-scale scenarios, while composite structures are composed of multiple units to meet larger demands.
  2. By mobility method: They are divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. The former rely on lifting equipment or manual handling and are suitable for short-distance movement, while the latter achieve long-distance transportation through powered devices or vehicle towing, offering higher flexibility.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types rely on water sources and sewage pipelines and are suitable for scenarios with infrastructure. Waterless suction types collect feces through vacuum or negative pressure technology, reducing water consumption. Circulating water-flush types achieve water resource reuse through filtration and disinfection technologies. Dry-packing types use biodegradable materials to directly collect feces without a water source, making them suitable for water-scarce areas or regions with high environmental protection requirements.

III. Application Advantages Through modular design, mobile toilets in container form can be quickly deployed in scenarios such as temporary events, disaster relief, and tourist attractions, effectively solving the problems of long construction periods and high costs associated with traditional toilets. Their mobility also makes it easy to adjust their positions according to needs, improving resource utilization.
