How to Add Foam to a Mobile Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

To add foam to a mobile toilet, you first need to accurately dilute the foaming agent and then add it to the designated location in a standardized manner. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Accurately Dilute the Foaming Agent
The concentration of foaming agents varies among different brands, and the dilution ratio should strictly follow the product instructions. Under normal circumstances, the dilution ratio for general-purpose foaming agents is 1:150 - 1:200, meaning 1 liter of the original solution should be mixed with 150 - 200 liters of clean water. If the mobile toilet is in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment or has a high usage frequency (such as in crowded places), the concentration can be appropriately increased to 1:100 - 1:120 to enhance the stability and coverage of the foam.
When diluting, use clean water and avoid using water containing impurities, oil, or chemicals, as this may affect the performance of the foaming agent or clog the equipment. During the dilution process, stir thoroughly to ensure complete fusion of the original solution and water, avoiding layering or sedimentation. After stirring, let it stand for a moment and observe the liquid state. If there is no floating oil on the surface and no sediment at the bottom, the dilution is qualified.

2. Add to the Mobile Toilet in a Standardized Manner
The foaming agent addition port of a mobile toilet is usually located above the toilet bowl or inside the storage tank. Before adding, check the storage tank: if there is residual liquid or sediment inside, clean it up first to prevent impurities from affecting the foaming effect or damaging the equipment. After cleaning, pour the diluted foaming agent into the storage tank. The amount to be added should be adjusted according to the capacity of the storage tank and the usage frequency. Generally, it is recommended to add it to two-thirds of the storage tank. Adding too much may cause the liquid to overflow and pollute the toilet environment; adding too little will require frequent replenishment, increasing maintenance costs.
If the mobile toilet is equipped with an automatic foaming device, after adding, check whether the device is tightly connected to avoid leakage. At the same time, adjust the foaming frequency to ensure that sufficient foam is generated in time with each flush (just covering the surface of the toilet bowl is sufficient). For a manually added mobile toilet, add the foaming agent in the corresponding proportion each time you replenish the clean water to maintain a consistent dilution ratio and avoid affecting the foam quality due to concentration fluctuations.

Precautions: Wear gloves during the addition process to avoid direct skin contact with the foaming agent; if it accidentally splashes into the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with a large amount of clean water and seek medical attention. Regularly inspect the storage tank and foaming device, and clean up residues in a timely manner to extend the service life of the equipment and ensure stable foam effects.
