Mobile Toilet Home Production

Admin September 23, 2026

You can refer to the following two production plans for home-use mobile toilets:

Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank

  1. Basic Structure Construction
Take a water storage tank and split it in half with an angle grinder. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to enable mobility. Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to fix them on the upper side of the tank to increase height, forming a frame structure. Open a door on the side of the water storage tank, install sponge strips on both sides to build a door frame, embed plastic soft boards to form raised walls, and use the upper part of the tank as the roof. Paint the wooden strips with white waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics and durability.

  2. Functional Module Installation
Open a hole at the bottom of the tank to install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Open holes on the side and bottom to connect direct joints and insert a plastic bucket as a small water storage device. Use a water pipe to make a bath heater and connect it to a tee joint, and install a showerhead below. Place the toilet on the drain pipe hole, fix the water tank and seal it with glass glue, and connect the drain pipe to the sewage tank. Extend the tee joint of the outlet pipe horizontally to the door as the inlet pipe for the sink, and open a hole on the door to install a joint.

  3. Detail Optimization
Use foam strips to splice discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door, ensuring tightness. All joints need to be sealed with waterproof glue to prevent leakage. The water storage device needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent scale from clogging the pipes.

Creating a Mobile Toilet Using Discarded Tiles

  1. Base Production
Place the toilet on the tile, draw a marking line along the edge, and then cut out a rectangular tile block slightly larger than the bottom of the toilet. Install universal wheels at the four corners of the tile, drill holes, thread in screw rods and fix them, and cut off the protruding screw rods to prevent scratches.

  2. Toilet Fixing and Connection
Place the toilet again and mark the position of the sewage outlet. Thread a hose from the bottom of the tile and fix it. Apply white cement along the marking line to glue the toilet to the tile. After the cement dries, install the water tank and tighten the plastic fasteners, and close the lid and toilet seat.

  3. Sewage System Debugging
Put the sewage hose into the drain pipe to ensure tightness. The inlet pipe of the water tank needs to be connected to a stable water source, and test whether the flushing function works properly. Push gently when moving to avoid damaging the universal wheels, and regularly check the tightness of the screws.

Precautions:
Both plans require ensuring structural stability to avoid tilting or displacement. During the production process, wear protective equipment (such as goggles and gloves) to prevent injuries from flying debris from the angle grinder. If you lack professional tools, you can seek the assistance of carpenters or plumbers for cutting, drilling, and other operations.
