Mobile Toilet Hand-washing Area Design
The design of the hand-washing area in mobile toilets should take into account functionality, convenience, and overall harmony. Based on adhering to the design principles of mobile toilets, it is necessary to reasonably plan the layout, select appropriate materials, and optimize details.

In terms of layout planning, the hand-washing area should be located close to the toilet entrance to facilitate quick cleaning for users before and after using the toilet, avoiding cross-interference with the toilet area and improving usage efficiency. At the same time, the area of the hand-washing area should be reasonably controlled to minimize space occupation while meeting basic usage needs, in line with the overall lightweight and compact design requirements of mobile toilets. For example, a linear or L-shaped layout can be adopted to arrange the sink, faucet, and other equipment in an orderly manner, leaving sufficient operating space and passage.
Regarding material selection, considering that mobile toilets need to be mobile, economical, and durable, artificial stone or stainless steel can be selected for the countertop of the hand-washing area. Artificial stone is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and aesthetically pleasing; stainless steel is sturdy and durable, able to withstand a certain amount of external impact, suitable for use during movement. It is recommended to choose sensor-activated or foot-pedal faucets. Sensor-activated faucets can avoid contact contamination and improve hygiene levels; foot-pedal faucets are convenient for operation when hands are inconvenient and also reduce water waste.
In terms of detail optimization, the depth and width of the sink should be moderate to prevent water from splashing out and keep the floor dry. Storage space can be provided under the sink for storing cleaning supplies or spare materials. In addition, to improve environmental performance, a wastewater collection device can be installed in the hand-washing area to collect the wastewater from hand-washing, which can then be used for secondary purposes such as toilet flushing after simple treatment, achieving water resource recycling. At the same time, lighting equipment should be installed in the hand-washing area to ensure normal use at night or in low-light conditions. Energy-saving lighting fixtures should be selected to reduce energy consumption.
In terms of overall harmony, the design style of the hand-washing area should be unified with the overall style of the mobile toilet, including color matching and material selection. For example, if the walls of the mobile toilet use light-colored materials, the countertop and faucet of the hand-washing area can also choose similar colors to create a harmonious and unified visual effect.
