Functions of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 09, 2026

The functions of mobile toilets vary depending on their type, mainly divided into two categories: ordinary mobile toilets and smart mobile toilets.

Ordinary Mobile Toilets: They primarily provide basic toilet functions to meet the fundamental needs of the public and customers. Their design is simple and practical, suitable for various locations such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, and densely populated public places and bustling commercial streets. These places usually have a high volume of foot traffic and an urgent need for toilet facilities. Ordinary mobile toilets can be quickly deployed, effectively alleviating the problem of difficult access to toilets.

Smart Mobile Toilets: On the basis of ordinary mobile toilets, they incorporate multiple intelligent technologies, offering a richer and more diverse range of functions.

  • Toilet Cubicle Status Sensing: By equipping with smart door locks or human body sensing modules, they can identify the occupancy status of toilet cubicles in real-time. The red and green indicator lights at the door and the entrance integrated screen will simultaneously display the availability information, enabling users to quickly find vacant cubicles, reducing queuing time, and enhancing the user experience.
  • Environmental Operation and Maintenance: They are equipped with sensors for ammonia, odors, temperature, and humidity, enabling real-time monitoring of the environmental conditions inside the toilets. When indicators such as odor concentration and paper towel levels reach preset thresholds, the system will automatically send reminders to operation and maintenance personnel and simultaneously activate ventilation and deodorization equipment to keep the air inside the toilets fresh and the environment clean.
  • Additional Convenience Services: Some smart mobile toilets also integrate functions such as mobile phone charging, emergency calls, and surrounding service navigation, providing users with more convenient services. Additionally, some models support integration with urban public service platforms, allowing users to check the availability of toilet spots in advance through mobile devices, improving usage efficiency.
  • Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection: Smart mobile toilets are usually equipped with solar power systems and water recycling treatment devices, reducing energy consumption and water waste, aligning with the concept of green environmental protection.
  • Data Management: Through IoT technology, smart mobile toilets can upload usage data to the cloud in real-time, facilitating data analysis by management personnel, optimizing operation and maintenance strategies, and improving management efficiency.
