Mobile Toilet Functional Configuration
The functional configuration of mobile toilets is flexible and diverse, allowing customization based on usage scenarios and requirements, primarily covering five dimensions: core toilet facilities, intelligent features, auxiliary functional areas, expandable configurations, and industry standards.

Core toilet facilities serve as the foundational functional module, encompassing sanitary fixtures, auxiliary accessories, and environmental control systems. Sanitary fixtures mainly include water-saving squat toilets or sit toilets, with high-end models featuring ceramic materials and automatic flush sensors; urinals can be added in men's restrooms or standalone urinal rooms. Auxiliary accessories include toilet paper holders, waste paper containers, clothes hooks with a load capacity of ≥5kg, grab bars for accessible toilet stalls, mirrors, and ashtrays. For environmental control, energy-efficient lighting with a brightness of ≥300Lux and forced exhaust systems with an air exchange rate of ≥40m³/h are required, with some products upgraded to fresh air deodorization systems to enhance air quality.
Intelligent features enhance user convenience and management efficiency. Sensing and automatic control modules include infrared-sensing flushing, hands-free faucets, automatic lighting, and electronic toilet door displays (indicating occupied/unoccupied status). Smart management systems display real-time toilet stall status and usage statistics via screens, featuring smart water-saving reminders, with emergency call devices as a standard safety feature. For energy self-sufficiency, standalone toilets can be equipped with solar power systems and batteries to ensure continuous operation for over 4 hours without an external power supply.
Auxiliary functional areas meet special scenario requirements. The management room, with an area of ≥4㎡, is for staff operations or storing cleaning tools; the tool room, approximately 1-2㎡, is for storing maintenance equipment. The third restroom is designed for families and special populations, featuring accessible facilities (wheelchair turning space of ≥1.5 meters), adult and child toilets, urinals, sinks, and child safety seats.
Expandable configurations adapt to diverse environmental conditions. Sewage treatment methods are divided into water-flush types (requiring fresh water tanks, sewage tanks, or septic tanks, supporting traditional water flushing, recirculating water flushing, or high-pressure air-water flushing) and waterless types (biodegradable plastic bag automatic replacement for bagging types, microbial decomposition for zero-emission microbial degradation types). Auxiliary equipment includes liquid level monitoring devices (to prevent overflow), exhaust deodorization pipes, and fecal extraction ports.
Industry standards and considerations ensure safety and compliance. According to the "CJ/T 132-2018 Integrated Toilet" standard, faucets and valves must be water-saving products, electrical equipment must have a waterproof rating of IPX4, the interior ceiling height must be ≥2.0 meters, and door locks must have anti-reverse locking features. When purchasing, confirm the sewage discharge interface size (usually DN110), power interface (220V/380V), and water supply interface (DN15/DN20) to ensure compatibility with on-site piping networks.
