Mobile Toilet Foundation Construction Method
The construction method for the foundation of a mobile toilet mainly includes steps such as site clearing, foundation construction, securing measures, material selection, and construction precautions.

Site Clearing: Before construction, it is necessary to thoroughly remove weeds, debris, residues, and garbage from the site to ensure that the construction area is clean and tidy, providing a good foundation for subsequent foundation construction.
Foundation Construction:
- Determine the depth and area of the foundation based on the actual size and weight of the mobile toilet to ensure load-bearing stability. If the construction area has a flat terrain, it must meet anti-settlement and waterproofing requirements. For example, for a mobile toilet with a light steel frame integrated box, the characteristic value of the foundation bearing capacity must reach fak=120kPa.
- Lay a concrete floor to enhance stability. Typically, pour a 15cm thick concrete cushion and reserve a drainage slope (≥2%) to prevent water accumulation.
- If the site is uneven, manual foundation treatment is required. Ensure the foundation is level by filling in low areas, excavating high areas, and laying a gravel drainage layer.
- If the mobile toilet is equipped with a septic tank, the outer and inner walls of the septic tank should be constructed simultaneously to ensure tightness, and connecting pipes should be laid.
Securing Measures: For large-scale construction sites or scenarios requiring long-term use, it is recommended to use expansion bolts to secure the toilet body to the ground to prevent displacement due to external forces or during use.
Material Selection:
- Steel Bars: Use HRB400 grade or HPB300 grade steel bars that comply with national quality standards.
- Concrete: Select commercial concrete to ensure that the strength meets design requirements.
- Waterproofing Materials: Such as SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membrane (4mm thick), accompanied by special primer and sealant to prevent groundwater infiltration.
Construction Precautions:
- The foundation must be level and sturdy to avoid tilting, sinking, or movement, ensuring the stability of the mobile toilet.
- Strictly adhere to design specifications and construction standards, ensuring that both material selection and construction techniques meet requirements to guarantee the quality of the foundation.
