Mobile Toilet for Traffic Jam
Mobile toilets can serve as emergency toilet solutions during traffic jams, with two mature product types currently available: in-vehicle and portable options.

In-vehicle Toilet: Seres Automotive Co., Ltd. has been granted authorization for its utility model patent titled 'In-vehicle Toilet and Vehicle,' with the core design aimed at addressing toilet needs in scenarios such as traffic jams. The device consists of a toilet body and a slide rail assembly. Normally hidden beneath the seat, it does not occupy space inside the vehicle. In emergencies, it can be pulled out along the slide rail for use and then pushed back to hide after use, offering convenient operation and high hygiene standards. Its advantage lies in its deep integration with the vehicle structure, eliminating the need for additional carrying. It is suitable for scenarios such as highway traffic jams and long-distance travel, especially friendly to the elderly, children, or those with mobility issues. However, it should be noted that this design requires the vehicle to be pre-equipped with the device, and regular cleaning of the toilet is necessary to avoid odors or bacterial growth.
Portable Folding Toilet: Mature products are already available on the market. For instance, in user feedback from the National Day highway traffic jam scenario, portable folding toilets achieve volume minimization through a folding design (usually reducible to less than one-third of the original size), allowing easy placement in the trunk or beneath the seat. When unfolded, they form a stable support structure and, when paired with disposable garbage bags or solid deodorizers, can quickly create a temporary toilet. They are simple to operate (usually requiring no tools) and are mostly made of lightweight plastics or aluminum alloys, suitable for both adults and children. User cases indicate that such products effectively address children's toilet needs during traffic jams, preventing health issues caused by holding urine and reducing reliance on public environments.
Selection Advice: If the vehicle is already equipped with an in-vehicle toilet, prioritize its use to reduce carrying burdens. If not, a portable folding toilet is a more flexible choice, especially suitable for family road trips or travel with children. Both types of products require attention to cleaning and disinfection after use to avoid cross-contamination.
