Mobile Toilet for Tourism

Admin September 22, 2026

Mobile toilets are facilities suitable for cultural and tourism projects and other venues. They can be moved as a whole and provide toilet services to the public, featuring various types and characteristics.

Composition and Types of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets generally consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. According to their structural forms, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Based on their mobility methods, they can be categorized as hoisting and handling mobile toilets, powered and towed mobile toilets. In terms of sewage treatment methods, they can be classified as water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.

Common Designs of Mobile Toilets in Cultural and Tourism Projects

The preferred mobile toilets in cultural and tourism projects are designed to be user-friendly and robust. They are generally welded using thickened galvanized square tubes, solving the problem of rust in scenic area public toilets. Some classic models of women's toilets have two squatting positions, with an overall galvanized frame structure that can last for more than two years. They feature a pointed roof covered with waterproof asphalt shingles and metal carved wall panels. There are also two-squatting-position toilets with customizable sizes, available in both basic and luxury models. The luxury models have larger overall dimensions, with rain protection facilities in the front and public washbasins.

Characteristics and Advantages of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets can be conveniently transported to any location where toilets are needed and can be used repeatedly. They offer advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation. For example, in 2023, mobile toilets were gradually installed and put into use in the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area, providing convenience for tourists.

Design Principles of Mobile Toilets

The design of mobile toilets should adhere to the principles of mobility and convenience, cost-effectiveness and durability, environmental protection and ecological benefits, and efficiency enhancement and humanitarian promotion. The overall structure should be lightweight, using lightweight and durable materials as much as possible, while ensuring structural robustness. The design should also consider controlling the height and width of the toilets, and the mobile devices should be fully considered for completeness and rationality.
