Mobile Toilet Folding Operation

Admin September 21, 2026

The folding operation of mobile toilets should be carried out according to the corresponding method based on the type. The common types and steps are as follows:

I. Simple Outdoor Foldable Mobile Toilets

  1. Post-use Cleaning

    • Disposal of Excreta: Remove the garbage bag covered with nylon fabric or tent, ensuring it is tightly sealed to prevent leakage. If a garbage bag made of biodegradable material is used, it should still be disposed of in accordance with local environmental protection regulations and not be discarded randomly.
    • Disassembly of Components: Remove the C-shaped toilet seat from the support structure. If alternative supports (such as mineral water bottles or folding stools) are used, they should be stored separately. The four load-bearing pipes or sticks should be disassembled one by one to avoid bending or breaking.
  2. Folding and Storage

    • Folding of Fabric: Lay the nylon fabric or tent fabric flat and fold it along the original creases to the smallest possible volume. Check for any damage or stains and clean and dry it if necessary.
    • Organization of Components: Classify and place the disassembled C-shaped toilet seat, load-bearing pipes (or sticks), and other small accessories (such as fixing ropes) into a dedicated storage bag to prevent loss or scratches caused by mixing.

II. Outdoor Foldable Mobile Toilets with Support Structures

  1. Post-use Treatment

    • Waste Management: After sealing the storage bag (containing excreta), choose a designated waste disposal site for disposal in accordance with local regulations. If a solidifying agent is used to treat excreta, ensure complete solidification before disposal.
    • Cleaning of Support Structures: Wipe the metal or plastic support frame with a damp cloth to remove stains. If the material is washable (such as some aluminum alloy frames), rinse it with clean water and dry it thoroughly to prevent rusting or mildew.
  2. Folding Steps

    • Folding of Frame: Loosen all the fixed buckles or screws and fold the support frame inward according to the design structure (usually in a 'Z' shape or 'X' shape) until the volume is reduced to a size that can fit into a backpack or the trunk of a vehicle.
    • Separation of Consumables: Store unused storage bags, solidifying agents, and other consumables separately from the support structure to prevent deformation caused by long-term compression. Regularly check the expiration dates of consumables and replace expired items in a timely manner.

Precautions

  • Dryness First: Ensure that all components are completely dry before folding, especially metal connectors and plastic parts, as moisture may cause rusting or aging.
  • Integrity Check: Check the number of components during storage to prevent loss. Avoid heavy pressure during transportation to prevent frame deformation or fabric tearing.
  • Long-term Storage: If long-term storage is required, it is recommended to store the support structure and consumables separately in a dry and ventilated environment and regularly check the condition of the components.
