Mobile Toilet Flushing Methods
Mobile toilets have various flushing methods, mainly including water flushing, recycled water flushing, and dry packing types, each with different flushing principles and characteristics.

Water-flushing and Waterless Suction-type Mobile Toilets
Water-flushing mobile toilets are equipped with a complete flushing system, typically featuring a large-capacity freshwater tank. For example, the 2026 new lightweight plastic mobile toilet uses gravity flushing, with a foot pump for the wastewater tank. During use, freshwater is introduced from the tank into the toilet bowl through gravity or foot pump operation to flush away feces and other waste, with the flushed wastewater flowing into the fecal wastewater storage tank. Waterless suction-type mobile toilets, on the other hand, do not have a flushing process. They rely on strong suction to directly draw feces and other waste into the storage tank. This method is suitable for areas with extremely scarce water resources but requires regular cleaning and transportation of the storage tank.
Recycled Water-flushing Mobile Toilets
Recycled water-flushing mobile toilets are a relatively eco-friendly type. They use a specific fecal wastewater treatment device to purify the used wastewater. This device typically includes multiple steps such as filtration, sedimentation, and disinfection to remove impurities and bacteria from the wastewater, making the treated water meet the standard for reuse in flushing, thus achieving water resource recycling. This flushing method not only saves water but also reduces reliance on external sewage discharge systems, making it suitable for long-term use in places with high environmental protection requirements, such as large outdoor event venues and tourist attractions.
Dry Packing Mobile Toilets
Dry packing mobile toilets do not use water for flushing. They employ special packing materials. After a user uses the toilet, feces and other waste are automatically or manually packed and sealed in a specific container. This packing method effectively prevents odor emission and waste leakage, and the packed containers are easy to transport and handle. Dry packing mobile toilets have the advantages of simple structure, easy mobility, and no need for the installation of water supply and drainage pipes. They are commonly used in temporary event sites and construction sites.
