Mobile Toilet Flushing

Admin September 21, 2026

The flushing function of mobile toilets is mainly achieved through water tank supply, recycled water treatment, or intelligent control systems, with specific methods varying by type and design.

Flushing Principle of Water-Flush Mobile Toilets

Water-flush mobile toilets rely on water tanks or intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment units for water supply. For example, traditional water-flush toilets are typically equipped with water tanks that deliver water to the flushing mechanism via gravity or a water pump to clean waste. Some designs use intermittent treatment units that combine aerobic and anaerobic microbial decomposition technologies to generate recyclable water while treating feces, reducing reliance on external water sources. For instance, recycled water-flush mobile public toilets are equipped with fecal wastewater treatment units that add biological strains and use biofilm technology to accelerate decomposition. The treated water can be recycled for flushing, creating a closed-loop system that is both eco-friendly and water-saving.

Flushing Logic of Intelligent Control Systems

Intelligent public toilet systems optimize flushing efficiency through electronic control technologies. For example, a control system based on an STM32 microcontroller can integrate infrared sensors and water pressure sensors to achieve automated flushing: when an infrared sensor detects someone using the toilet, the system automatically triggers the water pump to flush; or a 2-minute timed flushing mode can be set to avoid resource waste. Meanwhile, the water pressure sensor continuously monitors water pressure intensity to ensure stable flushing performance. Such designs are commonly found in intelligent mobile toilets in public places, balancing hygiene needs with energy-saving goals.

Flushing Methods for Home or Portable Mobile Toilets

The flushing function of home or portable mobile toilets (such as outdoor camping models) is typically achieved through built-in water tanks or external water sources. Built-in water tank models require pre-filling with water, which is then discharged by manual pressing or an electric pump during flushing; external water source models connect to tap water or a water storage container via a hose, using external water pressure directly for flushing. Prices for such products vary widely, with basic models costing around 147.25 yuan and high-end smart models reaching up to 1805 yuan, featuring functions like odor control and water volume adjustment to meet different scenario needs.

Design Differences Across Scenarios

The flushing design of mobile toilets must adapt to usage scenarios. Mobile public toilets in public places prioritize recycling and intelligent control to reduce operational and maintenance costs; home or portable models emphasize convenience and cost-effectiveness, achieving rapid deployment through simplified structures. For example, outdoor camping toilets typically use lightweight materials to reduce size and weight, while recycled water-flush public toilets require biological treatment modules to ensure water quality standards.
