Fire-Resistant Materials for Mobile Toilets
Common fire-resistant materials used in mobile toilets mainly include metal frames, composite panels, rock wool sandwich panels, polyurethane sandwich panels, flame-retardant plastics, fire-resistant coated panels, and fire-resistant boards, etc.

Metal frames are often made of lightweight steel or galvanized steel. These materials have excellent high-temperature resistance and are less likely to deform in high-temperature environments. They can effectively withstand direct flame attacks, providing a stable support structure for mobile toilets and being one of the preferred materials for fire prevention design.
For composite panels, calcium silicate boards or magnesium boards that have passed the GB8624 fire prevention certification are common choices. These panels maintain the advantage of being lightweight while having excellent fire prevention performance. They can effectively prevent the spread of fire in the event of a fire, buying valuable time for personnel evacuation and rescue.
Rock wool sandwich panels use rock wool as a flame-retardant and fire-resistant material. For example, mobile toilets produced by Wenzhou Xinbaida Color Steel Component Co., Ltd. use such panels. Rock wool has an extremely high melting point and good thermal insulation performance, which can significantly improve the fire rating of mobile toilets and ensure structural stability and durability.
Polyurethane sandwich panels can also play a certain fire prevention role when they meet relevant quality standards. The polyurethane foam inside forms a char layer at high temperatures, preventing the spread of fire and heat transfer, providing additional fire protection for mobile toilets.
Flame-retardant plastics are used in the main frames of some mobile toilets. These plastics have been specially treated and have the characteristic of delaying the spread of fire, providing more opportunities for personnel to escape in the early stages of a fire.
Fire-resistant coated panels further enhance the fire resistance rating by adding a fire-resistant coating to the internal partitions. The fire-resistant coating expands to form an insulation layer at high temperatures, effectively preventing heat transfer and the spread of fire.
The base materials of fire-resistant boards may include magnesium oxide boards, cement fiber boards, or calcium silicate boards, with a fire-resistant coating or melamine finish on the surface. These boards have excellent flame-retardant properties and can maintain structural integrity in a fire, providing reliable fire protection for mobile toilets.
