Mobile Toilet Fecal Discharge

Admin September 21, 2026

Mobile toilet fecal discharge is mainly achieved through various technologies, covering physical discharge, biological treatment, resource utilization, and other directions. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Physical Discharge Technologies

  • Gravity Sewage Discharge: Utilizing terrain elevation differences, feces are directly discharged into the municipal sewage network through pipes with a diameter of 100-150 millimeters. This method is low-cost and simple to operate but relies on terrain conditions.
  • Vacuum Collection System: A vacuum pump creates negative pressure to rapidly suck feces into a collection tank. The pipe diameter is only 50-80 millimeters, making it suitable for space-constrained scenarios, but the equipment cost is relatively high.
  • Compression Discharge Technology: Mechanically compresses fecal volume (compression ratio of 1:3 to 1:5), reducing transportation frequency and suitable for centralized treatment scenarios.
  • Lifting Pump System: When feces accumulate to a certain amount, a lifting pump raises them to a height of 5-10 meters before discharging them into a sewage pool, solving the discharge problem in low-lying areas.
  • Smart Sensing Discharge System: Sensors monitor storage levels and automatically open valves to discharge feces to designated facilities, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

2. Biological and Chemical Treatment Technologies

  • Biodegradation Technology: Microbial communities are added to decompose organic matter. Solid feces are mixed with wood chips and fermented into carbon dioxide and water (degradation rate ≥ 99%). Urine is treated through aeration for reuse as reclaimed water.
  • Integrated Sewage Treatment Equipment: Multiple processes such as sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection are used to treat feces and domestic sewage. The treated water can be used for toilet flushing, with a daily treatment capacity ranging from several to tens of cubic meters.
  • Recirculating Water Flush Type: Biomembrane technology combined with aerobic/anaerobic treatment accelerates decomposition by adding microbial strains. The treated water is recycled, saving over 80% of water and reducing pumping frequency.

3. Resource Utilization Technologies

  • Ecological Circulation Technology: Feces are converted into organic fertilizer through fermentation and composting processes to create high-quality fertilizer, achieving resource circulation.
  • Resource-Based Zero-Discharge Technology: For example, closed-loop fermentation systems convert fecal water into organic fertilizer and water vapor, achieving zero discharge and suitable for rural or areas without sewage networks.

4. Special Scenario Adaptation Technologies

  • Eco-Friendly Collection Bags: Made of biodegradable materials, these bags can be directly replaced when full, preventing leaks and odors, and are suitable for temporary or drainage-free locations.
  • Dry Packing Type: Biodegradable plastic bags collect excreta, which are automatically replaced and centrally treated, requiring no water flushing and suitable for water-scarce areas.
  • Foam Sealing Type: Foaming liquid covers the toilet to block odors, with extremely low water consumption (only requiring hand-washing water), inhibiting bacterial transmission, and suitable for high-traffic or epidemic prevention scenarios.
  • Vacuum Adsorption Type (Vehicle-Mounted): A vacuum pump sucks excreta into a collection tank, saving water and facilitating transportation, suitable for mobile scenarios.
