Mobile Toilet Facilities

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and provide toilet services to the public, with advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

I. Basic Components Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure that they have basic toilet functions while meeting usage needs in different locations. For example, fecal sewage storage tanks are used to collect and store waste, sanitary ware provides direct tools for using the toilet, and mobile devices facilitate the overall movement of the toilet.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
  2. By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type toilets may require external equipment for movement, while powered and towed-type toilets have their own power or can be moved by towing, offering higher flexibility.
  3. By sewage treatment method: There are water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets are similar to traditional toilets, using water to flush waste; non-water-flush suction-type toilets treat waste through suction; circulating water-flush toilets can recycle water, saving water resources; and dry-packing toilets package waste in a dry form.

III. Suitable Locations They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations have high pedestrian traffic, and the demand for toilet facilities is temporary or periodic. Mobile toilets can be flexibly deployed to meet toilet needs during different periods.

IV. Homemade Cases Some people also use materials such as water storage tanks to make homemade mobile toilets. For example, a young man used a water storage tank, split it open, fixed universal wheels, installed door frames, walls, and roofs, and connected drainage pipes, installed toilets and water tanks, etc., to create a mobile toilet, demonstrating the flexibility and diversity of mobile toilet production.
