Mobile Toilet External Water Pipe Installation

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation of external water pipes for mobile toilets requires selecting the appropriate plan based on the toilet type. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Installation Points for Water-Circulating Mobile Toilets

These toilets treat sewage through a circulation system, and the external water pipe needs to be connected to the inlet valve and the water storage tank. Key steps include:

  1. Install a filter at the water inlet: Before connecting to the water source, a filter should be installed at the front end of the inlet pipe to prevent impurities such as sand and rust from entering the system and clogging the circulation pump or sprinkler heads. The filter needs to be cleaned regularly, and it is recommended to check the filter screen status every 1-2 weeks.
  2. Check the tightness of the pipeline: Use standard fittings (such as PPR pipes or metal hoses) to connect the inlet valve to the water source. Wrap the connections with Teflon tape or apply sealant to ensure no leakage. After installation, open the water source valve and observe whether the water level in the storage tank rises smoothly to eliminate any potential water leakage.
  3. Adjust the water level in the storage tank: Adjust the upper limit of the water level in the storage tank according to the frequency of toilet use to avoid overloading the circulation system due to excessive water levels or affecting the flushing effect due to insufficient water levels.

II. Installation Points for Water-Flush Direct-Discharge Mobile Toilets

These toilets rely on a continuous water supply to flush away excreta, and the external water pipe needs to be connected to the on-site water supply network or an independent water tank. Core operations include:

  1. Adapt to the water supply network pressure: Before connection, confirm the on-site water pressure (usually required to be 0.2-0.4 MPa). If the water pressure is insufficient, a booster pump needs to be installed; if the water pressure is too high, a pressure relief valve needs to be installed to prevent damage to the flusher or excessive water flow causing splashing.
  2. Seal and fix the fittings: Use stainless steel clamps or special fittings to connect the water pipe to the inlet of the flusher to ensure a firm connection. An independent water tank needs to be equipped with a float valve to control the water level and prevent tank overflow.
  3. Test the flushing function: After installation, trigger the flushing button multiple times to check whether the water outlet of the flusher is uniform, whether the flushing force meets the standard, and observe whether the drain pipe is unobstructed to prevent blockage.

III. Installation Points for PVC Drain Pipes Connected to the Ground of Mobile Toilets

These toilets require planning the external water pipes in coordination with the drainage system. Key steps are as follows:

  1. Slope design: The main drainage pipe should maintain a slope of 2%-5% (i.e., a drop of 2-5 cm per meter) to ensure that sewage can be naturally discharged by gravity and avoid water accumulation or backflow.
  2. Seal the fitting connections: Use PVC special glue to bond the fittings (such as tees and elbows). Before bonding, clean the pipe ends and grind off the burrs. After bonding, let it stand for 24 hours for the glue to cure, and then test the tightness by running water.
  3. Layout of branch pipes: Connect the main pipe to the drainage outlets of sanitary fixtures such as toilets and urinals through tee fittings. The branch pipes should minimize bends to maintain smooth water flow.

Precautions: All installation operations should be carried out by professionals. After installation, a 24-hour pressure test (for the water supply system) and a water flow test (for the drainage system) should be conducted to ensure the stable operation of the system.
