Mobile Toilet Exhaust System

Admin September 24, 2026

Mobile toilet exhaust systems mainly include several types: natural ventilation systems, mechanical ventilation systems, deodorization ventilation systems, and intelligent ventilation systems.

Natural Ventilation System: This system primarily relies on vents on the walls, such as louvers, to achieve air exchange using natural wind power. Its structure is relatively simple, requiring no additional energy consumption, and offers the advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection. However, its ventilation effectiveness is greatly influenced by wind power; when there is no external wind, ventilation efficiency significantly decreases, potentially failing to promptly and effectively expel foul air from the toilet.

Mechanical Ventilation System:

  • Exhaust Fan Ventilation: By installing exhaust fans inside the mobile toilet, foul air is directly drawn outdoors. However, during use, it is necessary to reasonably set up air inlets to avoid negative pressure issues within the toilet caused by exhaust, which could affect normal use and ventilation effectiveness.
  • Combined Supply and Exhaust Ventilation: Coordinated operation of supply and exhaust fans enables precise control over the direction and speed of air flow, maintaining air pressure balance within the toilet. This ventilation method offers relatively stable ventilation effectiveness, unaffected by external wind power, and can continuously and effectively provide fresh air and expel foul air from the toilet.

Deodorization Ventilation System: Equipped with activated carbon adsorption devices or photocatalytic oxidation equipment in the ventilation system. Activated carbon has powerful adsorption capabilities, effectively adsorbing odor molecules in the air; photocatalytic oxidation equipment can utilize light energy to decompose and convert odor substances into harmless substances, significantly improving the air quality within the toilet and reducing the generation and spread of odors.

Intelligent Ventilation System: Utilizes sensors to monitor parameters such as air quality and humidity within the toilet in real-time, automatically adjusting ventilation volume based on the monitoring results. When air quality is poor or humidity is high, the system automatically increases ventilation volume; conversely, it appropriately decreases ventilation volume, achieving intelligent control and providing users with a more comfortable and convenient experience.

Additionally, when laying out the exhaust system, it is important to note that the exhaust outlet should be positioned at the top of the toilet or high on the side wall, at a height of more than 1.8 meters above the ground; the design of the ventilation duct route should follow the principle of 'short, straight, and smooth'; fan selection should match the actual required power and include space for maintenance; simultaneously, odor control auxiliary measures such as activated carbon adsorption devices or deodorizing liquid sprays can be incorporated.
