Mobile Toilet Excrement Recycling
The recycling and treatment of excrement from mobile toilets form a closed-loop management system, mainly divided into three stages: collection, storage, and removal and disposal. Details are as follows:

Collection Methods
- Flush Type: Waste is flushed by water flow into an integrated fecal storage tank at the bottom, suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements.
- Packaging Type: Special collection bags or buckets are used to seal and package waste, preventing odor leakage and suitable for places without water sources or temporary locations.
- Biodegradable Type:
- Direct Decomposition: Professional biodegradable bacterial communities are added to the tank to decompose feces into carbon dioxide and water, reducing solid residues.
- Reactor Treatment: Through a biodegradable reactor, temperature and humidity are regulated to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter, ultimately converting it into a small amount of stable residue.
- Physical-Biological Combination: A rotatable sieve is used to intercept solid substances, which are then transferred to a high-temperature carbonization module and converted into biochar through anaerobic pyrolysis technology, achieving resource utilization.
- Recirculating Flush Type: Fecal sewage is fermented and decomposed by aerobic/anaerobic biofilm technology, then filtered and recirculated for toilet flushing, significantly saving water resources.
- Foam Sealing Type: Compressed air generates foam from a foaming agent to cover the inside of the toilet bowl, replacing water flushing; urine is filtered and treated into reclaimed water for flushing or landscaping.
Storage Stage
The fecal storage tank is made of high-strength fiberglass or polyethylene, featuring anti-corrosion and anti-leakage properties, and is equipped with extremely well-sealed delivery and suction ports. Waste is safely stored during toilet use to prevent leakage and environmental pollution.
Removal and Disposal Stage
- Professional Suction Removal: A fecal suction truck uses a vacuum suction pump and dedicated hoses to suction the mixture of fecal liquid and deodorant from the storage tank into a tanker, which is then transported to a municipal sewage treatment plant or fecal treatment center for harmless treatment and discharge to meet standards.
- Packaging Type Toilets: The sealed waste bags or buckets are removed as a whole and transported as special solid waste to a waste disposal station for harmless disposal through incineration or landfilling.
- Biodegradable Products: The fully decomposed residue or biochar can be handed over to professional institutions for use as green compost or soil conditioner.
In addition, nitrogen and phosphorus elements in urine can be recovered through specific technologies: Nitrogen is biologically converted and fixed into ammonium nitrogen or nitrate nitrogen, while phosphorus is recovered as phosphate through chemical precipitation or biological adsorption. These nutrients can be used as organic fertilizer supplements, reducing the energy consumption of synthetic fertilizer production and non-point source pollution, achieving resource recycling.
